Firstly, install global theme store and then search Stecu Stecu theme and change the status bar.
You can, but you have to unlock the bootloader first. Now it is not easy for the China variant unless you live in China.

Very expensive. You need convert rom which is modified global rom for locked bootloaders. And you need flash that rom with auth which is quite expensive 60-70$. Because now auth ids can only auth flash 10 devices a day.
