Sooner or later xiaomi will release to Europe a cheap device with 855. We will see if Mi 9T pro will eventually find its way to Europe or Poco f2 will be released which is different phone from the k20 pro but with an 855 cpu
Note 7 pro story all over again. Everybody is getting hyped and then xiaomi only releases the Note 7, a meh device, to Europe.

Xiaomi did a very rude and selfish move by apperantly not planing on releasing the pro version. Very dissapointed.

Different tax codes, operating costs, exchange rates and about a bajillion other factors are in play when it comes to pricing of the same product in different markets.

Guys I don’t understand one thing, if the Mi9T is going to be a step under the regular Mi9, how is it that the pro is going to be called “PRO” if it’s still going to be a step under the Mi9? (As per de leaked specs)
The device is already there, it’s the K20 Pro. Just needs a rebrand.
Prior to K20 / K20 Pro announcement, there was evidence of 2 variants from [when it was certified](https://www.igeekphone.com/redmi-k20-has-been-certified-by-the-3c-authority-in-china/) and [from leaked photos](https://www.gsmarena.com/redmi_k20_pro_might_be_the_name_of_the_upcoming_flagship_from_xiaomis_subbrand-news-36914.php). When [Mi 9T was certified](https://www.dealntech.com/xiaomi-mi-9t-launch-imminent-passes-certification/) there was one model number. Since then, it has appeared in leaked photos, benchmarks, seller listings and even unboxing videos yet there has been nothing yet for Mi 9T Pro.
It must come with 3.5mm jack. it’s just a rebranded Redmi K20 so, it must come with everything the K20 has with replacing the Redmi logo with the Mi logo and maybe a little higher price.
But I missed the IR sensor very much 🙁

That’s what he’s talking about. We stil ldon’t have confirmation for 9T pro to come globally.
If there will be a Pro version, it will be released later than the normal version. There are already so many leaks from the Mi 9T but not a single one from the Pro version.

Never lose audio jack, that is so much better than to rely on wireless options.
The Mi9T is the global version and name of the K20.
So Mi9T Pro will at least have Snapdragon 855. 🙂
