I’ve been using phones and testing this “storage-performance” relation on many phones for quite a long now.
For most phones, (and even SSDs), it safe to say that a performance drop is only seen once you cross the 90% barrier. Huge drops in in-game performance or system animations occur only after 95% storage usage. (This again slightly differs on your phone’s memory). Most experts would suggest keeping your phone on 80% full but in day-to-day usage, you’d be good not crossing the 90% threshold.
