“Ax” devices supported?
yep thats the one
I had some problems with this tool for the past few days when I first tried it on my redmi note 3 pro, contacted Saki and he gave a few suggestions which didn’t work until he suggested I try older 6.0.1 version which now works 🙂 Nonetheless, XiaoMiTool could be the most user friendly feature packed app if it supported this also.
Try this

If you dont mind the updates, LOS16 march 6 build by anderson is great.
But there are also good alternatives.. los 15.1 extended, syberia and PE.
I need help. I tried to install TWRP to my redmi note 7 using this tool. Upon booting it tells me to enter a password to start using android, I’m stuck at this point, what do I do?
I think it’s A1, A2
Pardon me, but Francesco is trusted since early Xiaomi days, his xiaomitool helped thousands of users. AFAIK he didn’t make it open source because of mi unlock part which is “added” somehow from the official tool.
Needs to be open sourced if it’s going to be trusted.
Nope, Francesco Tescari is not Francisco Franco.
Well, I can’t blame you 😀
I’ve been using pie as my daily driver for a couple months now and it’s fine.
I’ve had no random crashes as of now which is nice
you can do that with ADB
I can unlock my bootloader with this?
Sorry for the late reply. I don’t know what can be done with that option. I do know the documentation says it’s not possible and normal procedure for that should be followed.
No, that still needs to be done through the standard process
Is this tool only for Windows, or Linux is also supported?
try syberia official. it has EAS and pretty stable
Does this work with anti-rollback?
Thanks for the feedback. I was thinking of giving the Pixel Experience rom a go.
Works like a charm. Is it possible to add uninstalling xiaomi bloatware apps? That would be awesome 🙂
And then why is there an unlocking bootloader option? What i can do with this tool?
can this install the [Xiaomi.eu](https://Xiaomi.eu) ROMs? such as MIUI 10?
currently have LOS 15.1 and Android 8.1.0
Indeed, I’ve reported xiaomitool developer with this feature request.
Give this a try https://github.com/Saki-EU/XiaomiADBFastbootTools
Linux and Mac support will be added soon.
BitDefender reported the tool as malware.
Tryed using this to flashTWRP on my Mi Mix 3. Everything seemed to go well, BUT when I tried booting into TWRP (vol + power) the stock recovery came up and I was unable to reboot (was able to get into fastboot screen, but my computer wouldn’t recognize it) had to do factory reset to be able to boot into my phone.
Last time I’ve tried (RRemix rom) Pie on RN4 SD two months ago and didn’t like it. Felt somewhat not polished, battery life was shorter, I couldn’t record calls (I know it’s Google fault but still).
Nice 🙂
i downloaded this and i can’t see my redmi note 9 pro (there are redmi note 9 pros but only the guagong and not the joyeuse one)
Is that the Kernel guy? Heard of him. I still wouldnt use anything from anyone who isnt accountable to tinker with on system level that isnt open source.
Nice, the original version helped me out massively. My Whyred has unlocked bootloader but ive never bothered flashing anything.
Whats the prefered ROM for whyred?
Ohhh looks good, would this be it? https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-4/xiaomi-redmi-note-4-snapdragon-roms-kernels-recoveries–other-development/rom-syberia-project-t3846212
Never flashed a new rom on a phone, only ever put cydia on my iPhone back in the day 😛
Having issues installing TWRP on my Mi Mix 3, exciting to see if this works!
My Redmi Note 4x has felt super sluggish lately. I was thinking maybe putting Pie on it, does anyone know if it is considered stable?
