Really curious about these. Wonder how good they are for calls. I got a bunch of similar small totally wireless earbuds but they are usually not very good for calls, not using HD (think the proper name is WideBand). For example if you use Whatsapp, Wire, Skype, Signal etc for a call, it wont sound as high quality as it usually does. Normal cellphone calls sounds the same I think.

Also wonder if you can use the earbuds separately as two independent mono earbuds.

You already have to have it, to use that, if I’m understanding correct. It just checks if you already got ripped off. Sounds like GearBest will be my best bet, I like them anyways, and everybody here seems to think they will send me legit.

Yes I have ear canals big enough to park a city bus in. Think I’m just afraid it will fall out and it makea my ears ache.

You just need to find the right ear tip size, some people have slightly different sized ears too so you might have to use two different sizes

I have a pair of xiaomi bluetooth headphones and they are horrible!! They constantly cut in and out and overall sound like shit.

The short answer is: no I’ve never tried them.
However, when I was in China I visited a xiaomi shop and tried some of their wireless earphones, and in the noisy environment they still sounded loud and clear (noise isolation and volume is pretty good but I can’t say anything about bass or treble balance), which is why I was excited about those airdots. My friend also owns the kind with a cable that connects the two, yet still “wireless”; he said battery life isn’t bad at all, but he never ran out so never calculated.

I also prefer wired over wireless, but now that I commute a lot, wireless or at least half-wireless would be so much better; people in the bus often pull my earphones by accident and they hit the ground pretty hard; they are already dented after 3 months of usage.

I would worry about the quality of the sound more than the battery; they barely use any battery and they come in a charging case too. Definitively ask more people who tried it in quiet environment.

I think my opinion is still valid because i presume you live in a city, and it is always noisy, therefore being able to hear music in loud places is important

Considering their IEM is pretty decent/good. I’m not worried.

It should be decent, i don’t think that Xiaomi is a charity company but that doesn’t mean that they can’t make cheap products with an ok quality!
