I didn’t change anything I guess Indian Rom then
Redmi 4x is alive and well!
Ditto on the RN4 MTK ver.
It’s just the Xiaomi.eu, not the actual China Dev rom
Sorry I don’t know much about all this can someone help me out. I have a Redmi 3S and 2 Redmi 4 in India will it stop working now or this is like I see will receive no updates in future ?
My Xiaomi Redmi 4X says good bye 👋
Oddly the devices on 7.1 are still supported
My gf ownes one and hers is running Android 6.0 with MIUI10. Is it possible to get it to Android nougat?
Even on Lineage, a lot of it depends on the maintainer. If he knows how to work with the kernel to apply some of the patches, then fine. Or you’ll just have a string that says “Latest security patch” and not have any of the actual patches.
Redmi 4x has MIUI10 on 7.1.2 by default.
Meanwhile xiaomi stopped supported the mi5 which is on oreo….
I just flashed it on mine, seems to work sweet
I got off 6.1 because I was having a lot of network issues, on 5.8 right now till the issues don’t get fixed. I saw in the change log that he’s been fixing those issues, maybe next build or something I’ll try reinstalling
Oh, that’s better. Thanks!
What does that mean? They won’t support it with future updates?
Redmi 5 still got MIUI 10 which is good.
How can Redmi Note 4 be EOL? This is ridiculous, one of the most sold smartphones ever. Time to install a custom ROM then.
It’s kinda disappointing this phone is not getting a single OS update it seems?
Redmi 4 is still supported
For the uninitiated this is only for xiaomi.eu- official Xiaomi’s updates are still gonna come out
I meant to flash it in my Redmi 4 Prime this week. Glad I didn’t.
My brother’s redmi 3 prime and my redmi note 3 pro got mi10 I was impressed.
Yes, so they won’t be modifying the China dev ROM for these devices anymore
I ditched MIUI some time ago, was on LineageOS 15.1 but since the maintainer kind of moved on to Pocofone, I switched to AEX once I got tired of waiting. AEX is pretty good, just not sure about the privacy aspects like Lineage does
Oh your’s Redmi Note 4x. I ws talking about Redmi 4x. its different model

RIP Note 4 Global 🙁
No, vince is on 8.1
Hmm, we’re already 2 android versions behind. I guess it makes sense to switch to stock android at some point in the near future then?
Redmi 4x is still supported, it’s on 7.1
Do you use the Xiaomi.eu ROM or the Indian ROM that came with the phone?
Mi max 2 is 7.1 so somehow not EOL
Time to upgrade.
Those who want to change the miui change to lineage OS its work perfectly
Ah yes but luckily there are pretty good devs on XDA
Buggy rom anyway
So Mi Max 2 is already EOL? That’s sad
They get the China weekly dev ROM, remove all Chinese stuff from it and add languages
You’ll be fine
Install a custom ROM, you’ll get it to 8 (maybe even 9)
Mi max 2 is 7.1 so somehow not EOL
Yeah wtf
Ohh, thanks. It’s kind of confusing sometimes. I still have some trouble with my Redmi Note 5 with dual camera, sometimes it’s AI, others appears to be the pro one hahahaha.
I love AEX as well. One of the more responsive devs that seems to know what he does.
Stock Global ROM. It works great and I never had the urge to change it. Are you happy with miracledroid?
I.. I just finished flashing 10.1 on my dad’s Mi4c because he keeps accidentally deleting Play Services. Oh well.
You won’t get any official updates anymore. Devices will still work.
You can install a custom ROM if you still want to upgrade your OS.
This is why I’m hesitant to install this sadly.
Wait does this mean Vince is EOL as well???
Redmi 4 prime never got an update either. Really fucking sucks.
Yes seriously what the fuck Xiaomi? Probably the only 2017 Mi phone that hasn’t received an Oreo update or MIUI 10 global stable. Even the cheaper Redmi phones released in the same year have gotten their updates ages ago.
