Xiaomi Yeelight Ceiling Light Pro (Star Version). It can connect with Mi Home app. I like it. (Sorry for speaking Thai)

where did you get it?
I bought it from China.
Great. I just googled it, and I can actually buy it online from shopee and they will courier it to Malaysia
Hey can you post a vid to this sub to see how effective it is when its night
Thanks
Can you use it with all its features (changing colour, on/off, brightness) with Amazon Echo? I own only Philips Hue lamps at the moment, but would add this one if it is compatible with a Hue/Alexa setup.
And what about google home?
I just bought the yeelight nightlight for 200THB on shopee (7$)
I recommend it, it pretty damn good and doesn’t turn on “accidently” like I thought it would. Its standing right next to my bed and only turns on when it’s completely dark and someone walks infront of it. No issue when moving around on the bed right next to it.
Do the stars make a difference? A light pattern or sthg?
You are forgiven
Do you mean mijia? If so we have two and it’s good. I don’t like any light when traveling to wc at night but kids loves it and it looks neat.
If you bought it in China doesn’t that also mean it would work only on the China Mainland servers? If that’s the case then Europeans be aware. I’ve had some Xioami/Mijia gadgets that only worked on China servers and some (bought in Europe) only on European Servers which makes controlling things in the Xiaomi Home app almost impossible.
What’s the size?
650mm
You can swop server (region), its devices can stay in different region. When swop a region and its devices still in another region (they are not gone), and when you swop back you will meet your devices again. Thanks
Thanks
I think it can work with, but I never try it yet.
Yeah I’m aware of that. But swapping isn’t intuitive and it wasn’t ever made to be done regularly – which is why it’s burrowed deep in the user profile, as in, it’s not exactly a setting toggle. Moreover, you can’t combine devices between regions so good luck connecting a China-only sensor to an European hub or the other way around.
Can you use a remote control with several lights? So let’s say I have one of these in every bedroom, will I be able to use one remote and/or control all of them with my phone?
I assume the LEDs can’t be changed. Once it “wears off” you have to change the whole light, am I right?
Anyway, really cool
I want to like it but it’s just too plasticky. It looks so cheap and tacky imo. Shame as the tech in it is great.
stars only seen on low light. no more differences
android app says it can integrate with google home, amazon alexa, ifttt, tasker and other. i tried using it with google home and it works from phone but with small delay (1-3s)
this lamp need to be always powered on and controled by remote or some kind of logical switch
