If anyone finds this available online with shipping to US, let me know
if only it can output 20V and 45W
Exactly cant charge laptops with 30W
Can’t or slow?
a normal laptop uses around 30W while in moderate use, so depending on the size of the screen, usage and components it would probably only drain the battery while charging or barely charge at all. I cant imagine why it would not work when its turned off and the laptop supports charging over usb.
You can get the 45w usbC on AliExpress. But its a single Port only.
I see so if I let the laptop shutdown for a while then it should charge even though slowly
I think can’t. take Dell XPS i think it wont respond to less than 45W
Tried to charge my friends huawei matebook pro with my mi powerbank 2 (15w). It slowly loses charge, loses about 2% per hour
Is it worth it ?
I mean even though it is only a couple of bucks, is the difference significant ? I have never used fast charge and I can’t figure out the difference with only numbers of watts..
By the ay I have got a Pocophone.
Voltage input
My laptop uses type C and PD charger. But not all PD charger is the same, only pd charger supports 20V output can use.
Any idea if this can charge the mi notebook?
If you only have a phone this probably won’t make a big difference. Not to mention many phones are capped at a certain wattage anyway. You can connect your Pocophone to a 87W Macbook Pro charger and it won’t charge much faster than the regular fast-charger.
This is more for tablets and small laptops, or when you want to charge two phones at once.
I don’t think so, my notebook pro requires 75W. Not sure about about the notebook air.
Normally it would work. Every laptop that supports USB-PD can be charged with this power adapter. My MBP charges even when I just use a normal phone cable at 10W.
And nowadays ultrabooks use far less than 30w on average.
Is it better/as good than the Aukey one? I use it for some time to charge in PD the Nintendo Switch and my Xiaomi phone by USB-C to USB-C and other stuffs with the A port. Quite good, slightly too big.
30w is quite a lot tbh, you wont see those numbers except when running something intensive
I routinely run my MacBook (2018 13″ Air) off [this 15W charger](https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01GUVNHY8/) – I use it for hardly anything but chat, checking Reddit and other forums, but generally speaking it charges slowly using that adaptor.
I got Dell XPS 13 with a 30W charger as my main charger and it totally works for me.
