Yes i think so
That’s dope. I’ ve mi8 but the huge notch spoils the feeling
Vivo announced it too, but Xiaomi patented the technology first.
I think we can expect the under display camera phones by 3rd or 4th quarter of this year itself.
And also, technically under screen cameras, like on the Mix 1, 2 and 2S, the camera was geographically located under the screen, the 3 has it hidden behind the screen with the slider, and 4 would be the perfect place to test it fully beneath the screen
the inevitable future, it’s amazing.
Gotta admit I liked the fidgety nature of the sliding display tho, it briefly brought me back to flip phones
So you are expecting to see a seam where the camera ‘fits’ into the display and it not to be bonded?
>I think another phone brand did it too
Oppo
Good mention. I had completely forgotten about the Mix series. It’s been a while since we’ve seen a new Mi Mix device.
To an extent this could mean the end of the split between the Mi series and the Mi mix since they could all just all screen. Perhaps the experimentation moves on the to other aspects?
this and 100W fast charging on the same phone
I don’t think they’ve actually called something revolutionary in a long time, if they haven’t actually been the first to do it (or do it in a new way)
>Hard to tell who did it first.
Apple. Next year. And it will be *revolutionary*
/s, obv.
Not simply experimental, but experimental with a high focus of maxing screen to bazel ratio. So yes the Mix is the most likely candidate
This’ll be most probably available from their Mi 10, comparatively higher end Redmi 8 devices, and K30 series/Poco F3 series devices
You forget about the Mix 3 5g?
I’m hardly a small electronics engineer.
Nice to see somebody actually innovating
Hope they use it for their upcoming devices
Honestly, I didn’t really care about its arrival because we don’t have 5G network where I live in. I saw an article about the Mix 3 5G arriving in the US/EU markets and that’s about it.
