Hi, I was recently gifted a Xiaomi Smart Kids Watch, and tried to set it up for use here in Australia. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to work when not connected to wifi, and when on cellular, nothing (video/ voice calls, messaging) seems to work. On wifi, video call and voice messaging works, but nothing else (voice call mainly)

Has anyone managed to get it work in Australia, and is the issue with the network provider – a cursory read seems to say that only some network providers work with smartwatches, but that is usually in reference to Galaxy/ Apple devices. Or is there something else that I’m missing?

Tried to set it up with ALDImobile btw.
