The only charger and cord I used with this phone was the one that came with it from the box, I also used a 20kmah powerbank from the Mi store as well.
Warranty?
Thanks, I appreciate the kind words 🙂
*damaged screen
How did it go?
Didn’t fall or anything, was acting fine this morning came back to it with the screen flickering and now it’s pressing itself on it’s own.
The only thing that you can do if you didn’t drop it you can go it back to the store and replace it.
check if its slightly bent, that might be the issue
Where is that normal? outside a weeb con I mean
Take it to Redmi authorised service centre. Had similar issue with Redmi 5. They fixed for free as it was within warranty period. Might claim that issue is due to liquid entry through charger Port.
The display connector is loose
Or grounding problem.
it could be bent, reason i replaced my screen
jalter is good civ
i think it’s kinda normal if like that
Two thoughts:
1. Display Connector
2. Water
This doesn’t help to fix your problem but Jeanne Alter for your background. Good taste my bro.
Really late but I got my phone back from the service center a few days ago and they repaired it under the warranty. Apparently the LCD was defective and was replaced with official parts I am told.
Update: I turned it off last night and turned it on this morning, It looked fine for a good 2 minutes but then the flickering came back, I’m gonna have it serviced at an Authorized Xiaomi Service Center, will update soon on their diagnosis.
Yep, reset and off. Even the Xiaomi logo during boot flickers up and down.
Experienced it on my Redmi Note 3 Pro, the charger was the cause of the problem. Try to restart and change the charger.
dang, that sucks

Dude that wallpaper, how you take your phone out in public?
i mean people now these days doesn’t bother at all what is your wallpaper (in my opinion)
Looks like something might be wrong with your phone
I had a TV that did the same thing. That was a video board failure, even did the leave it off for a while and it behaves for a time, then the exact problem returns.
Warranty return looks like the best option.
Most probably the connector from the display to the motherboard has some flaky connection..
