Xiaomi offers best devices with all the latest features in it.
Can you tell me if french is available ?
So what version of miui do you have ? The international one ?
A vassal of Germany
Can’t wait to visit the new store in France and buy one Mi book pro …..or a backpack, that’s all I can afford !
You still can buy from amazon.es if you’re in the EU, the shipping is usually pretty cheap. They’re a little more expensive but they come with EU warranty, so I’d say it’s worth it.
Lt is eastern Europe, not real Europe…
Fuck, Poland is counted as a EU country? Not as a vassal of Russia?
I don’t live in Spain but go there in summer, what do people think about them?
Poland has had a Xiaomi Mi Store in Kraków for quite a while to be frank
You get me. <3
oh, three are selling them . okay now I can ask and pleaed to be able to find a spare digitizer for my redmi 4
Lt is not in EU.
Edit: it was a joke, people. 😔
Late to the party?
You can already buy then in Spain, Italy, Germany and Austria without having to import them (with France soon joining the party).
I stand corrected; Xiaomi launched in Italy a few days ago, as it turns out.
At this point it feels a bit silly to see these types of articles popping up. Sure the Xiaomi aren’t available in every single country but at this point they are easy enough to obtain in Europe without importing them, outside of the most recent models.
I’d rather see articles about when the new models are coming to Europe, if ever, than which 3 new stores will have them for sale.
Here’s hoping Three don’t slap a huge premium onto the price. Knowing the Irish Three service like I do, this is exactly what will happen

Downvote…
i’ve bought a few in europe already, so is this new?
Well, given that Xiaomi phones are only retailed officially by Xiaomi in Spain, the only option is that you bought it from a reseller.
So you know better than me where I bought it from? LOL
Guess I’m from the future then? Bought my R5+ from Amazon Germany a month ago already.
Edit: Thanks for the downvote, but it’s SOLD AND SHIPPED BY AMAZON, not a third-party seller.
yeah, i know
That Is a 3rd party reseller. Xiaomi have no association with companies like alixpress and gearbest
Do the stores serve as repair centers as well? Can I buy screen replacements there? There’s one in la vaguada i think
At least in Austria there is only one carrier that still sim-locks and three doesn’t lock them here
I would absolutely buy from Inet if I didn’t import myself. Wouldn’t buy locked!
Wait what wouldn’t you do? Buy a locked phone or buy from Inet? I have *far* better experiences from Inet.
My Mi Mix also came with a USB-C -> 3.5 adapter and a case.
afaik they are already sold in retail stores [Mediaworld page shows it as available in store](https://www.mediaworld.it/mw/SearchDisplay?searchTerm=xiaomi&categoryId=&search=WCS&storeId=20000&catalogId=20000&langId=-4&pageSize=25&beginIndex=0&sType=SimpleSearch&resultCatEntryType=2&showResultsPage=true&searchSource=Q&pageView=)
Yeah I would never do that. You can also buy phones with three in elgiganten stores and get the same price with an unlocked phone and free accessories! Unfortunately no xiaomi there yet 🙁 Inet is nice too though and actually has the phones so that’s awesome!
You don’t need to buy a locked phone. I bought mine from Inet, unlocked.
They’re not locked to three. At least not in Sweden. I bought mine unlocked, and we also have a Swedish mi-store that carries their phones (all unlocked) and accessories.
The markup for my phone was €410 to about €480. So not bad at all.
Sounds like three’s coverage over here too tbf, I remember going with them once for the first time because they had the cheapest offer, got home, no signal, went back to the shop to cancel contract, they said signal should be fine so wouldn’t cancel, I then proceeded to show them that I couldn’t even get signal in the three store. They proceeded to cancel the contract after that lol.
Uh. They’ve been sold in Europe for months? I bought mine from a Swedish vendor, no import through Latvia or something like that, not vendor locked and global ROM. We also have our own Mi-store in Swedish, with their phones (no vendor lock) and accessories.
Odd that they still lock them in Sweden. You can unlock any time but they charge SEK 350 if you’re still under contract.
They have a great save desk in particular. I called in to cancel my subscription and they gave me a pretty good offer, but I didn’t accept at once and told them I would think about it. Called in again after the weekend to say I had thought about it and still wanted to cancel, which prompted them to give me an offer I couldn’t refuse.
Their customer service is actually good the few times I’ve used them but their network is spotty. The odd thing is I can have LTE in the forest where there’s nobody but me and moose and poor 3G service in the center of a big city.
Amazon does sell some Xiaomi’s phones directly
Yeah a bit cheaper.
Wtf why would anyone go with them then? Are they super cheap in comparison to others or something?
Through amazon or through amazon reseller?
Kinda clickbait title? Unless Europe is only UK and nothing more. At least in Poland Xiaomi phones are sold by ABC data for a while now and you can even get them with your data plan (or at least I saw 4A advertised by Play)
Yeah three is the only one locking phones, they also have the worst coverage
Sucks to use three and live in Sweden I guess then, from what I gather, most Swedish carriers stopped locking phones from 2016.
Xiaomi phones are officially sold in every major electronic store in Portugal, already. I guess now it’s just a matter of expanding to more countries, gradually.
I think that they are talking about physical stores in this article.
The title itself is clickbait though
In sweden 2018, three still locks the phones.
I bought my Xiaomi in local store couple days ago. But in that particular store Xiaomi is avalible since 2016 i think.
Local stores in my country have xiaomi products for quite a while already, if not years, would be nice to see a xiaomi only shops all across EU doe.
Well OnePlus smartphones are available in the UK from O2 Network and they are not SIM locked.
Don’t see why Three should be different, only a Three customer in the UK can clarify for us ?
Yes, so was I, I know the difference between the two after dealing with both multiple times in the past. It’s illegal for them to not have unlock procedures in place, and alternatively you can do it yourself or go third party.
Further to these points, on three UK at least, if you bought a phone from them after 01/01/2014, it is already unlocked, so this argument is irrelevant.
Nope, Three stopped locking phones in [2014](http://www.three.co.uk/hub/what-is-an-unlocked-phone/).
I talking about **Network SIM Lock**, not bootloader.
Usually to get the Network to unlock the device, you would need to Spend a minimum amount on there network. Or purchase a shaddy unlock code from someone of ebay.
It’s already a month that I bought my Redmi 5 plus on Amazon Italia, maybe the news is referred to the 3 partnership?
Oh yes, but when! Ordered redmi note to UK in April, still waiting.
Bit of an irrelevant question though, since you could just have it unlocked anyway if it were to be locked.
The question is will the phones be **SIM locked to the Three Network**, if you choose to purchase from them?
Edit: – Also wonder what level of markup on price, Three will charge?
