Xiaomi Phillips?
I also didn’t know it exists but apparently it does

Philips division in China has been working with Yeelight and Xiaomi (and many other brands) for years. Philips has a huge brand name in China and Xiaomi likes to connect themselves with that. Until they have taken over of course lol
Is it supposed to be a bug or a feature, can’t understand ?
more or less just a coincidence. you see, most smart lamps or appliances like TVs and such have a certain frequency at which their remotes will “talk” to them. This handheld radio has an adjustable frequency, which means it can be set to whichever frequency this lamp is responding to. The handheld radio is in a way acting as a remote.
I’d assume it’s a bug since this lamp is not supposed to have any remote control other than Mi home app over BLE or WiFi.
hm, it fits neither BLE nor WIFI, so it might be like exactly a multiple or fraction of those signals? it might still have a receiver either way.
how did you find this frequency ?
Как четко по-английски?
That’s as simple as setting to scan and waiting for something to happen.
I heard of THEM, not of IT, since they’re two different companies.

TIL! Спасибо – я студент русского языка 🙂
It’s magic🧚☺️
I wonder if it has anything to do with frequencies used by remote keyless locks such as https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/LPD433
I can hear the Enterprise sound of a scan.📳
Do you know if Philips make their own smd LEDs?
No idea, not that far into it.

😂😂
I use this frequency to talk with my friends. It’s a free to use frequency you don’t need license to use.
No not really, I don’t know why I was rotating it.
Environmental engineering gone wrong
Yes a tbh I really don’t recommend it. It’s a eye care lamp but definitely not a ear care lamp. If it’s set for not full brightness it emits very high frequency hiss making my ears hurt.
Interesting, nice find! I’ve got two of those lamps, they are pretty good.
Are yours emitting high pitch sound when they’re tuned for less than full brightness? Mine does and I have a feeling I have a defective unit
No, they both don’t. Typically I’ve got that “backlight” on and the actual light on the lowest level.
