Hey I’ll pm you the link!
Wow, this is for sure a dead laptop battery and you should replace it. I can refer you to [this post](https://batteryscout.com/replace-a-laptop-battery/) where you can find a lot’s a good information about replacing a laptop battery.
Nope, no issues other than this. I really my laptop and I’m ready to buy a seperate battery for this but they’re expensive and not original. 😔
Well, thanks for all your comments!
I tried the uninstall drivers method, didn’t work.
I reinstalled the windows OS, didn’t work.
I’ve got 2 batteries and 2 chargers all work the same.
So right now i’m searching for something like a bios upgrade or something else to try.
Installing Linux is indeed a good option to try if the operating system is the problem, I almost know for sure it is. But how can i repair it, while still running windows 10.
Greetz
Thankss but i’ve got 2 batteries now 😳 and 2 chargers… Both of the batteries don’t work in it..
It’s a battery problem. I had same problem with my mi note book air 13″,I was in China some days back. Got the laptop to a service center, they changed the battery
It’s the version with i5 8250u, mx150 and 8gb ram. It was \~700€ about a year ago.
how much was the laptop
most likely
I have the same problem. My computer is brand new, did not recognize the battery since the first time I turned it on. I will probably get a replacement.

How can you tell? I see +15?
My notebook air had the issue with rattling fans. I updated bios to some custom one, which had custom fan curves and the rattling stopped.
Battery might just be loose like on my laptop, even if you’ve just charged it constantly for years it shouldn’t be dead
I have the same probleme, I buy a new battery who can power up the laptop but not charge, On the new battery I can charge with a DCPS but not with USB-C. I open both battery and see BMS board is not the same (the new battery have a older revision of the BMS).
Also I have no light at all (even if the laptop is working, my USB-C meter show me it’s fine). Have you got an idea of if it’s coming from the BMS or from a short on the charging line.
1 – Delete the Battery Driver (right click on the Windows icon and select Device Manager)
2 – Power down your computer and remove your battery (you may have to open it and unplug the battery from the board)
3 – With the battery of the PC, without it being connected to any form of power, keep pressing the power button for 10 seconds. This helps to get rid of any residual voltage on the PC that may be affecting the battery calibration.
4 – Put back the battery and let the laptop off, to charge a bit.
5 – Turn on the computer. If the problem persists, you can either try again 2-3 times, or see if Xiaomi has a battery manager/fix like Lenovo has.
If none of the above work, then you should get a new battery.
If you screw up and you bust your laptop, I am not responsible, do it at your own risk. This is something that I did to my Lenovo Ideapad 330 when I had the same problem, and it worked.
Yea i had the same problem with very old Asus laptop. I didn’t used it for long long time and it deeply discharged battery. Windows just couldn’t charge it at all… Thrn i booted Ubuntu and after a while of very slow charging it started to charge normally and now it’s fine, no downsites at all.
Might not be the battery at all. Sometimes see this at work caused by the charger (try another charger if possible). In rare cases it’s caused by short circuited mother board, obviously harder to fix
We work with Dells but might apply in your case as well.
Yup. This is exactly what happens to old lithium batteries in old laptops/phones. They cannot hold a charge anymore. OP needs to change the battery and he’ll be good.
definitely needs a new battery. they are pretty cheap for the 13 and only mildly annoying to replace – less complicated than replacing any xiaomi phone battery, which is pretty easy too.
> India product 😂😂😂
this is pretty common for every laptops, especially if you usually work on battery until shutdown than recharge to 100% and repeat. your battery is most probably dead, you now have pretty small desktop pc. Search aliexpress for new battery.
Do you have 2 battery in your lenovo ?
Uninstall the battery driver and restart the laptop, it happen to my Lenovo laptop too
try uninstalling your battery driver, restarting your pc then reinstall your battery driver
same problem i have last week (powermode battery) but solved by buying a new 65watts charger but in your case maybe its the battery problem
I have the same problem, but with my MI notebook pro.
I had to open the laptop, drain power and it worked well for a week.
I guess I’ll have to buy a new battery.
Dells used to do this all the time and you would need to remove the battery and remove the power drivers and reinstall them.
