the back of my mi5 unglued a bit because i used it on a bluetooth controller with those clips to hold the phone.
Note: i was using a case
sadly, the Mi5 is a great phone with bad build quality.

Accidentaly bent my Xiaomi Mi5, everything works fine. Even display is ok and unbroken. Only the back of the Phone unglued itself. Is Xiaomi the first brand to develop flexible smartphone? 😀

Bent just above the battery. I hoped that with the back off it will be possible to change the battery, but it is now securely locked in place by the bent plastic.
5s is a lot heavier and has a metal back

Actually bend my mi A1 but the screen did crak, it was mostly working afterwards though. Only the usual problems with it with regards to sound.

I’m not surprised, the Mi 5 failed JerryRigEverthing bend test 2 years ago.
Perfect practical example proving how his videos are in fact useful for people planning to buy a phone. If a phone catastrophically fail the bend test just like the Mi 5 that means you’re more likely to have this happen to you sitting on your by accident or something. Hopefully Xiaomi build way more durable phones today. The pocophone passed brilliantly passed his bend test.

A coworker did the same, thus not as much bended as yours,by keeping his phone in his pocket while ridding some rollercoasters. He is using like that for months with no issue.

Nope, it was an accident. I smashed it with my knee in the back on soft sofa. I think the sofa is the only reason it still lives. I also had a protective glass on the screen, but it was totally destroyed.
As an owner of mi5, this is not even funny. It just sucks how poor the durability is.
How on earth did the glass on the screen not crack or shatter?
