Ceramic isn’t an element. Its a compisite of carbon, silicon, clay and other materials. You can combined other chemicals and particles in to the mixture to change different properties about the ceramic lIke harrdness, thermal exxpansion, etc.. The ceramic brake pads are not the same as your ceramic dishes. There’s an entire chemistry behind making different ceramics. I was hoping that they could have change the ceramic composite to withstand impacts better. Ceramic plating is used in armored vehicles as well.

I disagree I guess I’m a practical person because I think the fingerprint sensor on the back is perfect. It’s where the index finger rests naturally.
Yes, I honestly prefer the way apple does it – moderatly thin bezels all arround instead of razor thin side bezels, 1mm thicker top bezel and a small chin.
If they could get the chin of the Mix 3 like *1mm* smaller and than apply that thickness all around I would be pleased.
This is complaining at a high level though, what we got here still looks a lot better than my current Mix 2.

It’s more than likely to have full T-Mobile band support (except maybe band 71). With the exception of band 71, all prior Mi Mix phones supported every T-Mobile band including band 12 for VoLTE.

As someone using a iPhone 6s Plus, those comments always made me chuckle.
Had a Mix 1, dropped it, and that was that. I hope they’ve made some improvements on the ceramic. Stuff is super brittle.

Why? The technology is so new that there is bound to be problems… A reliable finger print on the back is better than a gimmick one in the screen.

They can’t change the properties of an element. Ceramic is harder than glass. Harder stuff is more brittle. That is why ceramic is alot more brittle when compared to glass.
They can perhaps do some sort of coating to further protect from scratches (it’s already pretty scratch resistant but hey, having a scratch proof phone is something that no body will complain about albeit with the brittle nature).

On your same boat, been using a OnePlus 3 and I want unlocked bootloader and Ron support. I’ll see the camera comparisons and the speed (but if the mix 3 has 855 is an instant buy)
