You should see the other guy.
I am not coming to reddit for research, not that kind of science at least
Because you compare it to phones that cost twice if this phone, that’s why it doesn’t impress you.
Pro: very stable
Con: makes you look like you’re running slow AF
My previous phone phone an s9 with exynos processor, the ui was full of microlag, but never had a stutter recording 4k 60fps. Now I have a Mi 9se, if I record in 4k30fps on the xiaomi camera app it stutters a lot, it’s like recording on a variable framerate from 10 to 20 fps. The only solution I fount is using gcam, with that app the is almost no frame drop, almost. So the problem is in the software, they have to fix their app.
The stutter completely kills it. Smooth fps should always be the priority over image stabilization. This is poor.
Because it stutters. That makes is completely useless no matter how good the IS is.
yeah the brightness is all over the place – why is changing all the time
how pointless is this video without anything to compare it to?
From the comments :
“The video stabilization is too aggressive
and causes glitching/jumping of the frames
and slight stutter. It completely ruins the
Video.
Just look at 00:04 to 00:05. Look at the
tree crown in the middle of the screen. Its
glitching to the right for a split second!
EDIT: At 00:00 to 00:01 look at the car in the
Background. You can see how the Video
drops frames because the Car stands still
for a split second. Seriously this Camera is
garbage.
The Mi9 has that Video stuttering, too.
Come on its 2020 not 2005. Video shouldn’t
stutter…“
I 100% agree with this guy, hardware si really good, software not that much. Video still stutter even with a snapdragon 865
What’s your frame of reference? OIS?
Impressive
> Mido doesn’t have EIS.
Definitely not officially, but I remember using custom ROMs, GCam and a 60FPS patch, and there would be EIS at 1080p 30 FPS.
The Mi A1 would also require the build.prop line `persist.camera.eis.enable=1`.
The [Redmi Note 5 Pro](https://youtu.be/s5px3gLUZgY?t=708) & Mi A2 started having EIS in the mid-range Xiaomi line, and they were super stable, Pixel-level.
Mido doesn’t have EIS.
That’s the wide angle lens.
Try with your phone and report back then?
Loved that phone!! It was so cheap and so good at the same time, battery was great for a while and it made my S7 Edge upgrade at the time more like a sidegrade lmao.
That’s wat Mi9T / pro should have
Even so it looks pretty good to me [https://youtu.be/0CuHby1itYA](https://youtu.be/0CuHby1itYA)
Mi 3, take it or leave
I want Mi 12
Are you sure gyro wasn’t used?
because the MI 9T Pro has no OIS
Starting with at least the Redmi Note 4 (or the Mi A1), the Electronic Image Stabilization used in Xiaomi phones appears to be the same as the Pixel 2-series, minus the Optical Image Stabilization.
This looks the same to me.
why was the stabilization of Mi 9T Pro so worse?
Now I might consider getting a Mi 11.
Nice try.
Stabilization way better than iPhone 11 PRO.
video HDR way worse, though
This one has nicer colors?
That is stupidly good, might be tempted now.
