As awesome of a deal that is, I just can’t get past the huge notch and chin on the Pocophone F1. Plus OLED on the OnePlus.
Mi 8 is also cheaper than the OP6T and doesn’t have as many problems as the Poco.
Read the link I posted. Meizu phones Chinese or global cannot have google playstore otherwise they will get hit with a lawsuit. So they have to install a third party playstore and have other problems like not having encryption.
I use a global ROM and I see ads creeping in some parts of the UI. I don’t understand how you guys are not aware of it as it has been a point of discussion everywhere else.
Is Meizu still blacklisted by google? Meizu phone are not recognized (uncertified) by google so they have to use a vendor googleplay installer.

Don’t act as if Oneplus was never caught uploading user data to chinese servers and spying without user’s permission. Stock android does not mean that they can’t install spyware. You are acting as if OP is Mahatma Gandhi of phone manufacturers. Oh btw i am using 5t currently.

Yup, value for money. Though of course you don’t actually save money if you set out to buy a Poco and end up walking away with the whole bundle though you never intended to buy the other things to begin with 🙂 Of course that’s the whole idea with these bundles, to get people to buy more stuff.

It is actually a very nice pen. I’ve bought a couple of them and they are lovely.
Yeah they often have advertisements, at least here in the UK, showing, for instance, a single item at a competitor’s price vs. what the same money would get you at Lidl.
I can’t argue with Lidl, myself, never found their stuff to be poor quality, and I can’t fault the price, and the constantly rotating non-food offers occasionally do something really great, like they had LEGO sets recently that… I couldn’t say no to, because I’m just a big child.
But yeah Xiaomi in China did the same thing with 3 bundles priced the same as the iPhone Xs, Xs Max and Xr, so they’ve got prior form.

They forgot to mention the complimentary advertisements in MiUi. Add that to the bundle and see everyone walk away to the OnePlus store.

Poco F1 is the 128 gig model.
I think the ads only available on CN ROM and not global ROM and can be opt out.
A new android one phone with thin bezels, no chin, no notch, something like an updated MI A2 but with oled, i’d gladly pay 50bucks more. hell, i’d buy for 299 euros. Don’t need snapdragon 8 series, just a good 6 series. And a decent battery.
I got global ROM. Never seen an ad. Which apps show the ad ? If it is non essential, declutter and replace them with similar apps from Playstore with no ads.
Hmm I dont know anything about that sadly. Would a Global Version of the phone not fix that?

If the pocophone is still having those initial issues with the touchscreen etc., then I would buy the oneplus without a second thought. Or maybe a Mix 3.
Lidl the supermarket?
Oneplus 6T. Everything besides the power bank and the earphones is pretty useless for me and they’re pretty cheap so if you only compare the Pocophone and Oneplus 6T I’d go with Oneplus

I bought the aluminium version, it’s brilliant, even though I only use it once a millennium totally worth the money.
Wow I didnt even know about that. The whole no encryption thing leaves a bit of a sour taste for me.
At least Xiaomi seems to be doing a little better than that.
