Yep really lookig forward to it europeans will be able to import directly from spain so that’s good
You think it’s gonna be possible to get an order shipped to a hotel while on holiday? 😉
You should be able to. If not, set the address to somewhere near and tell them to call you before delivery and tell the delivery guy to come to your hotel.
Source: I’m spanish
Given how many sales they’re likely to get when they launch I honestly don’t believe you’d get it on time.
I’d advise you to have it shipped home or to visit the store.
Several devices are already available on Amazon.es, you can order them already, I think from everywhere in Europe (where Amazon is delivering).
What prices can you get from spanish resellers in that country?
Do you have a link of xiaomi direct shop ?
Those are not available yet on the spanish amazon
Can anyone tell me what month of security updates the Mi Mix 2 is on? Maybe also the Mi4 for an older flagship?
What’s the best and most reliable site to purchase from Spain?
Question is how much are they marked up compared to Gearbest?
kinda good i have to say

That’s not sold by Xiaomi, is it?
A1 and Mi Mix 2 probably starting from tomorrow
Note 4 / 32 GB is currently sold at 210 €.
Neato!
Well there is a xiaomi or mi store so i guess it’s them we ll see tomorrow i hope we can get a lot of new phones soon ;p
Also http://www.pccomponentes.com
Thanks 👍
Yea I expect everything will be much dearer as tax is accounted for. It’s nice and all, but Gearbest still will be the way to go unless you want a warranty/guarantee maybe that’s more secure?
Just when I was thinking about chaning to iPhone or Galaxy… Xiaomi comes to my country! Okay, I get it, I’ll stay here!
Maybe now that they’re officially present in the west they’ll play nice with releasing kernel sources? One can hope!
200 before customs and taxes?
Nice. I hope they’ll sent the items to other european countries too?
Why are the prices higher than at Gearbest?
Xiaomi is on its way to world domination 🙌

He’th thpanith.
Taxes, European guarantee, etc…
Yeah I guessed. So its €50 more. Still a lot. Considering I can just go to the store or send it to Spain in case I need it replaced might be worth it though
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 4GB/64GB 4G DS Black EU Global Version – 234 EUR, that’s a 100 EUR markup compared to gearbest coupon prices that regulary work.
Me again. Example:
MI Mix 2 6GB RAM 64G ROM:
Xiaomi spain: €499
Gearbest: € 463 (Flash sale!) + 20% Tax = €555
So the mix 2 is cheaper when bought from xiaomi Spain by €55 than imported from China!
//edit.: it has 6GB RAM not 4GB
Not sure if they ship to other countries too, but why shouldn’t they?
Prices are not higher for everything! I just compared the Mi Mix 2 6GB RAM 64GB ROM:
Xiaomi spain: €499
Gearbest: €463 on Flash Sale. But you have to add your countries taxes to that price. Gearbest packets sure go through customs. In my case that would be 20% so it come out to €555 from Gearbest.
So the xiaomi Spain price is €56 cheaper actually.
Yep. I just hope they start selling the notebooks too.
If Gearbest would put the correct price on the parcel… 😛
The phones I did order always came declared as 20$.
Not usual though. Usually customs contact you for a payment proof if they suspect it’s more than €20
Funnily, Gearbest always states they can’t declare it cheaper as it actually is.
I think the only good value here is the mix 2 anyway so ;p
The phones are already up for preorder on Amazon Spain. It be available on the 10, though. I was checking out the Mi A1 on the Xiaomi online store and too bad, it isn’t available yet there. What goods may be including Xiaomi on the launch promo? It is worth it to wait to see if they have it on stock, or should I go with Amazon instead?
Link to the A1 on Amazon Spain (sold and sent by Amazon itself):

Yeah, that’s not good. That’s actually more expensive than a local vendor in my country, which is already more expensive than Gearbest/Aliexpress.
