Hello everyone, I own an iPhone 15 Pro and I’m seriously considering buying the Xiaomi 15 Ultra. My question is whether it’s worth it in terms of photography, battery life, etc.

I switched 3 days ago from iPhone 15 pro to the Xiaomi 15 Ultra and must say, I am absolutely impressed. The camera is great and I noticed how many small features from Android I missed the whole time. So for me, I totally do not regret my choice to switch to Xiaomi.
“Alright, I decided to wait another year. I’ve owned top Android phones before, but over time I always ended up disliking their size, which is why I switched to an iPhone. Given how I use my phone, switching wouldn’t be worth it. I don’t care much about photography, and in the end, the iPhone 15 Pro is still a great phone. The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is a tempting purchase, but I wouldn’t make full use of its potential.
I’d say not more than the iphone maybe in the sun but nothing crazy.
Okay And how would you rate in terms of thermals? Ive heard that some guys reported that phone gets pretty hot during using camera a demanding stuff
I actually prefer the X15 Ultra size. It’s smaller than the rest of the Chinese ultras.
I sold my ip15promax 2nd of April and got the 15ultra. I can tell you it’s a good decision but keep in mind that you will notice a change in the battery life and it’s a significant one. Depending on how much you use your phone. I use it for work so lots of phone calls emails and teams every day. I used to come back home with 40%(with the 15promax) now it’s on 20-25% (15ultra) but charging is fast. The camera is very good and you will play with the zoom all day 😉. Get the photography kit and a good power bank if you’re planning to go on trips or street photography. The kit has threads for a filter get a uv 67mm to protect the huge camera bump. It’s a good change for a year or two and then if you are not satisfied you can always go back to iphones.
I use both ip15 pro and Xiaomi 15 ultra, only annoying thing is the size of the phone. Rest is perfect, especially the PRO mode in camera app that lets you control all the settings of the camera, it was never possible with any iphone.
Battery life is similar, performance is much better for Xiaomi
