Hello. I bought my x15ultra but. I decided to check on camera first. Ofc there was rattle. And it was insanely loud… I already returned 14u due to the reason and it was deemed a defect.
But now on 15u i have filmed a VIDEO and casually ran, and the rattle sound is in the video. The most loud is when camera moves more to me and away from me (horizontal shake)
It should absolutely not making sounds on the real video right?
Can you try it on your phone? Just make a video and mildly shake it horizontally like 1-2 centimeters. Does the video have the rattle sound too? If not mine def is a defect.
It’s normal. When not using the cameras the image stabilization doesn’t work or something
I think i said speicifically i got all those sounds in the videos itself, and asked to check if this is a thing in your phone or not
Also have a x15u here. I just tried it and it also rattles but that’s because when you’re recording you’re still only using one camera so the other ones will rattle
Lmao you returned your 14u for no reason. It wasn’t a fault.
Yep just tried rattle is there on the video. You are right.
Normal behavior, every big phone does that
I know I’m just answering to the question.
It’s normal. Stop panicking people about nothing.
Not normal in video, same for me !
Tried contacting xiaomi about it? Any feedback?
Xiaomi support is nothing !
My X15U jas 2 defects at delivery and they don’t want to replace it !!!
You got the phone directly from them?
Yes of course
Nothing wrong with it, it’s the OIS. Crazy to think you returned the 14U for rattle and they accepted it lol. Enjoy the phone 🤘🏾⭐
It’s perfectly normal, even in video recording.
No because in video magnet are on and stabilization is active !
Yes, but that doesn’t mean there is no rattling. If you shake it, you’ll still hear rattling just not as loud as without the OIS being active. Was like that on the previous 2 generations too.
Wow. Thank you very much for actually doing this.
It is worrying for real though. Everyone says the side sounds in the video drom internal rattle is normal. Though I dont think that electromagnets allow it.
I will contact you if they deem it a defect. Imagine for people who record video while running or for example yachting the rattle will spoil everything…
And again my respect for going that far as posting this!
So you say that if a person jogging or yachting it is ok for a flagman to make the insane rattlesnake noises that interfere with the video itself?
If this is a standart for normal today, it is scary
And btw you are quick to judge i used 14u that my friend had, and the rattle on his phone was not nearly as loud as on mine. And xiaomi admitted for defect – i dont know what you are shilling and whitewashing.
Insane lol. Why cant they all activate to remove the noise. This noise is a major problem for people who focus on action videos.
It is insane loud. The guy above posted the video. He shakes it fast though. But this is still too loud.
If this is for real not a defect on electromagnets – i think they cheaped out on the video record users. Maxxing out photo, when you dont care about rattling.
My prev 14u was deemed defected, when I returned it.
Using the camera is already battery intensive enough.
Well sucks to suck, what can i say, but better to charge it 10% more frequent, than absolutely ruin the action video recording, right? I mean for me it seems like that. This is not a cheap device. Then, at least locks should have been present on cameras that are not taking part in recording. So they dont interfere with the sound. There is always solution. Especially for multibillion company.
Unfortunately it is not considered a problem for most people but it’s bad design in my opinion they could have applied a little voltage to the floating part when any of the cameras is recording. But again it feels weird to me even when it’s not recording to rattle like a baby’s toy. I understand the technology behind it but come on they should have thought of something.
Yes some system or interlocks would be jice to keep it in place while not activated…
But then again my 14u with rattle like yours was deemed defected…
I wonder what will be the verdict for 15u.
Kina looking for more options even! Vivo 200u. I saw a 200 pro video the rattle while recording is not nearly strong as yours!
If i will exchange my 15u i will write you, if the new one is doing better or not
Nice thanks!
Normal
It is strange but i should have expected it. Becuase im in Russia we dont have I think official service centers. The specialiaed service center though said it is not a defect (according to the operator of shop) but they dtill agree to refund me :/
I mean. In this case they usually all force you to keep it, but it seems now something has changed.
I also get video from vivo x200 ultra owner and it is much much better than yours! The rattle is still present. But it is not nearly heard on the video.
Gosh.
The bad designs + legit concern of defects are killing me 🙁
But i guess i will stick to 15u… Maybe.
Rattle in iPhone is much quiter than yours, but is present too
