Hello people. I wanted to know the opinions of Xiaomi 15 users, since these days I am going to change the cell phone and it is the main candidate.
It’s worth it? Or should you go for a cheaper one?

Everything about the phone is great; the build quality, camera, SoC, screen, RAM, battery, sound, you name it. **Except** for the fucking software. While most things just work and the animations are nice, some design choices are really bad (for example: locking the screen to 60Hz with power saving mode enabled, or a maximum of 3 notification icons on the status bar) and to top it off my battery limiter just quit doing its job all by itself and now the phone always charges to 100% instead of 80. No fix in sight either, and trust me, I tried everything I could.
HyperOS is an unfinished, buggy mess when compared to iOS and OneUI, to the point of it being a disgrace. I’m expected to pay a *flagship price*, then I expect, demand even, *flagship stability*, so I don’t have to deal with bad QoL design choices, and the most basic, mundane shit breaking all by itself, thank you very much.
If Xiaomi get their act together with their bullshit software then you’ll have a damn near unbeatable package in the Xiaomi 15, because like I said, it’s a great, well rounded phone underneath. That’s a big fucking **if** though.
Xiaomi 15 probably is the best compact phone for now. From its built quality to smooth hyperos experience. Only thing could be in a bit negative is the heating issue and that’s mostly because of its compact form factor.
I’m planning on uploading a review video covering a lot of key points if this would interest you. Once it’s up I can link it here.
A while ago I filmed my initial unboxing of the phone! https://youtu.be/oBcGVRHHDZY

If you buy chinese one which is obviously cheaper yes great phone. But Global is so expensive just get a samsung s25 or vivo x200 pro maybe oneplus if you dont care much about camera
Lmao Samsung S25
Oneui is better than buggy hyperos anyway
In exchange for worse battery, cameras (much worse), and charging speeds…. yeah okay
Maybe you’re right. I heard some guy on telegram can unlock bootloader for 230$ for chinese versions. Buying chinese version Xiaomi 15 and flashing global rom looks like the best option here. Xiaomi 15 cn is like 500$ pretty cheap i guess.
HyperOS global is completely fine on Xiaomi 15. Most HyperOS issues come from budget or midrangers because HyperOS is dogshit for anything that isn’t a flagship phone (which Xiaomi 15 is)
BS. HyperOS has issues on flagships aswell.
Like what?
Read my earlier comment in this thread.
Yeah, chinese hyperos is even better but people don’t like it cuz of notification issue which can be solved so easily and language problem i guess.
You named a whole 2 issues lol, I’m sure you can easily find 2 design choices you didn’t like/shit not working as intended on any other OS.
Also, battery limiter works for me but I don’t really use it so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
At this point I would wait for the xiaomi 16.it will have 8elite 2 chip and they say like 4million on antutu. Crazy powerful.
Except for the fact that you can’t use gesture control with 3rd party launcher, everything is great. I just miss using niagra launcher.
If you search Xiaomi 15 in this sub you will find plenty of opinions regarding the phone .I posted some as well.i asure you the phone is best in it’s price range and value . Now depends of your needs
I moved from Samsung 24u to Xiaomi 15u
Software takes some getting used to but at least I don’t feel so ripped off by s25u claiming to be flagship but only in the UI.
Thank you very much for commenting, I’m going to go for that one, since it seems to be at a good price.
I guess it’s a matter of getting used to it, and if it has errors at some point they will be fixed. Thanks for commenting 😊
Thanks for commenting, good video 👍
Yyyy, here in my country it’s going to come out very late and probably very expensive haha
It doesn’t have a competition in under 65k, it should have been prices around 50k to 55k imo. But the camera and performance is good. If you have a slightly higher budget and want a pretty good Camera phone than try Vivo x200. Rest is all at par with the Xiaomi 15.
I’m using Smart Launcher with Fluid Gestures. It works, but not correctly.
