I have an S24 Ultra and I want to change to a smaller phone, but I don’t know which one. The options that most catch my attention are a Pixel 9 Pro and a Xiaomi 15. What do you think of these two phones?

Xiaomi 15 – real value!
Xiaomi 15 (Global) u gotta work a little to unlock the bootloader i recommend switching to Xiaomi.EU rom immediately
What are the benefits of this rom versus the default on the global variant?
Don’t know about the battery but i’d have downloaded it if fkn Xiaomi didn’t lock the CN rom on me
No it doesn’t, ur version is an official global version like MI and IN.. u must unlock the bootloader then download the unofficial custom rom from their website
Xiaomi.EU rom gives u the best of both worlds (China ROM and Global ROM)
U can see the reviews on youtube

Go for Samsung or iphone
If you’re after a smaller phone, the Xiaomi 15 will likely be the more compact of the two—it’s expected to be sleek, powerful, and Snapdragon-equipped. The Pixel 9 Pro, while possibly smaller than the S24 Ultra, will still lean large (especially the Pro model), but it offers unmatched camera software and clean Android with long updates. Go Xiaomi 15 for size, performance, and premium hardware. Go Pixel 9 Pro for photography, Google AI features, and smooth software.
Just wondering if the custom ROM helps with performance and battery life? Or is it just to get the latest Chinese rom features
Pixel 9 Pro has better telephoto lens and probably better selfie too.
Xiaomi 15 has better processor, better charging, better battery endurance, faster storage and higher bluetooth standard.
As for the system, it comes to a preference between more features vs pure android.
Well… You are asking this in a Xiaomi sub so it’s likely the answers are going to skew towards the XM15 right?
For what it’s worth, I’ve been using a XM15 for close to a month. No issues whatsoever and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a smaller phone. You didn’t really state what specs you are looking out for but the XM15’s camera is great for a casual user like myself, overall phone performance is sharp and smooth, I’m using the global version so bloatware is not an issue (actually better than Samsung, I don’t know why Xiaomi cops so much flak for bloatware issues), and battery is decent (1.5 days of use, non gamer).
Xiaomi 15 no comparison.
So even if my os version says VOAEUXM it doesn’t mean it’s EU rom? I bought from EU too
How would you know if you have eu rom or global rom?
EU rom is a custom rom that u have to unlock the bootloader of ur phone first if u want to download it
It’s different from Xiaomi’s official Global roms (eu / mi / in)
Pixel
