Reviews of Xiaomi 15 on mi store app are good, everyone is praising the phone for its performance, camara and battery life but in Amazon there are no reviews in YouTube comment sections, there are mixed reviews but here on reddit, there are so many bad reviews mostly about battery life, and only some users recommended it.
I just have one question, that there are other same category phones are also here like samsung s25 and iphone 16 with so many drawbacks and cons but only Xiaomi has so many problems, are they perfact in everything or Xiaomi is really not good.

I’ve only seen good reviews about the Xiaomi 15 on all platforms. For me the battery life is meh so far, but maybe it needs more time. I’ve only had the 15 for less than 2 weeks.
How much screen time are you getting in normal use, cause I have send some users having 5-6 hours of sreen on time in Xiaomi 15.
5-6 hrs of SOT sounds about right if im on mobile data, 7-8 or maybe 9 hours SOT if I’m on wifi? it’s not really consistent but it has improved since the first few days i got it
That’s good to hear, that it has improved
Based on my experience, xiaomi hyperos is very bad and limited / pain to customize.
Does good camera even matter if the phone is a pain to use?
I would say Samsung is a well rounded phone.
Yeah hyperos is not that good, but tell me also about other features like battery and camara, based on your experience please
The xiaomi 15 phone is very comfortable to hold with rounded edges.
Camera is nice and I’m a fan of their macro mode.
Out of box the xiaomi 15 phone was around 50% and I charged it for a while. I notice there is no until fully charged information and the charging speed is fast.
I can’t say much about battery life as I spent most of my day to customize the phone and returned it the day after.
What do you mean by returned it, haven’t you used it for a while.
No, I used it for 1 day where most of my time was spent on restoring manually pictures from my pc and customize apps.
Ok
I’ve got my Xiaomi 15 for two months now. I was a long term Samsung user, so it took some time getting used to HyperOS.
What I noticed was that setting up the phone to my preferences took longer than it would with a Samsung. The software is sometimes a little rough around the edges, there’s a lot of BS to debloat and the battery life is average.
Having overcome those aspects and after integrating the phone into my daily life, I very quickly came to the conclusion that it’s a very well rounded package, with way more strong points than drawbacks. All of the hardware is top notch, the phone feels buttery smooth, the camera is S-tier, and the build quality is what you’d expect from a flagship.
People like to hate on the software though, but for your normal daily usage there’s little to no issues, and absolutely nothing someone can’t get used to. Everything just works, but sometimes that’s all there is to it, hence the rough around the edges part. Something the software does very well is the animations though, they look very nice, and they are incredibly smooth, especially when you speed them up even further in the developer options.
I’d give the phone a solid 8.5 out of 10, and I’m very happy with it. I’m planning on keeping it for 4 years.
If you, however, are used to software that’s had more time in the oven (OneUI, iOS), and you aren’t very tech savvy, then you will encounter issues and I wouldn’t recommend the phone, or Xiaomi in general. If you are tech savvy though, you can work your way around those things (hence the longer setup time) and you’ll have a great time with the phone afterwards. I’d strongly recommend the Xiaomi 15 in that case, because it truly is a great, well rounded package underneath.
I’m a tech savvy and I can give as much time as it needs, to make it a good runner.
I got the Ultra, my friend got 15.
He rates it around 8-9/10. Bang on cameras. He said he loathes the UI but says it is still better than this old Vivo. He tried the Samsung S25 series and OP before getting the X15.
He decided to get Xiaomi 15 after using s25 and op13, did he saw any drawbacks in these devices
The cameras on the X15 are simply superior. He wanted good hardware, and X15 pricing is less than OP13 and S25 in my area, so yes, it was an easy purchase for him.
How’s the battery doing, do you have any idea, did you notice ?
I’ll give my Ultra experience.
Decent battery, I use AI dynamic wallpapers and always on display so that affects I’m sure. But while using the camera, the phone tends to heat up a bit and drains the battery quickly. I don’t expect the same with X15, since the Camera hardware isn’t the same. I didn’t find him complaining about this though, he only had issues with the UI.
Ok
Switched over from an S24 Plus. Xiaomi 15 Ultra is on a whole different level in absolutely every regard. Super happy with it!
Also like HyperOS. There are perhaps 1 or 2 tiny annoyances, but nothing major. On Sammy, I always ran with Nova launcher. On X15U it never crossed my mind.
On Amazon there aren’t any YouTube comments?
There are some reviews showing in Amazon about Xiaomi 15.
This one is true.
I’ve been using this from the day it launched in india , I’ve been using two devices since past 6 yrs one is an IOS and the other an android, IOS being my secondary only for banking and personal use and android primary for work and related things.
What I’ve noticed is that
The xiaomi 15 is actually overpriced and it’s just being slightly hyped my previous android device was a samsung s23
Battery is the only dept where xiaomi 15 kills the samsung otherwise it is not where near competition.
Imagine having to buy a phone for almost 700 usd and still stuck with xiaomi ‘s get apps music etc that cannot be deleted , it’s customisable and all but it’s just overly hyped .
Next Camera is gud AI features gud
But samsung is equally gud
Apps get stuck at times and there were issues with maps , not rectified yet .
At the end it comes to your preference, plan to use it for a year and if the HyperOS I don’t know
Anyways my expectations were way above and unfortunately it aint meeting up to it.
It’s too early to comment too
Ok
