So the battery life on my Xiaomi 14T Pro which I got new 1 month ago is draining very quickly. I also debloated some safe to remove stuff and did all of the basic stuff like manage Autostart etc. Yet even when the screen is off or with no heavy usage the battery drains very quickly. I’ve noticed the System Launcher using a lot of battery and I’m not to sure if this is normal. Is there a way to fix this? My battery health is already at 99% and I have to charge my Phone at least twice a day.
Tomorrow another application will do that to you
After going through all the hassle of resetting my Phone, why does this Widget at the bottom now have Square Corners instead of round like before?

oh, well that’s interesting. not sure sorry
That’s weird send me a dm to try and figure it out
I bought my xiaomi 15 just a few weeks ago because I broke my old phone 🫤
Actually even a new issue occurred. Most Android Widget Corners somehow got square instead of round like normal.
Joyose is an app that you should never delete even tho a lot of guides tell that you should. It manages balancing performance and battery life. Often it improves Performance slightly but the phone gets a lot hotter and often the battery life gets obliterated.
In my case it was this option that made the launcher consume a lot of battery, another option I think of is that of mobile data consumption in the background
I am spes user. I’ve been through something similar to her, I solved it by going to “Access to Use” and unchecking the launcher, it improved quickly
Does anyone feel a difference when turning off Usage Access for the Launcher?
How it was ?
Yeah I’ve reset my Phone now without debloating anything just to make sure and I still won’t debloat again. I’ve turned off Accessibility for the Launcher but I’m not sure if there’s a difference. I’ve also turned on Hyper AI Engine in Accessibility and tuned off Interconnectivity. Refresh Rate is set to max 144hz for all apps but that’s self explanatory. AI Display Features are off and Advanced Textures made a small difference for me when it’s off. Lastly I completely emptied my Phone and fully charged it for one hour as Xiaomi recommended me. It feels a little better overall but still pretty bad and only Xiaomi can do something.
Yeah nothing got fixed, useless hassle I’ve gone through
Thank you. I tried. We’ll see…
Nothing to do, I charge twice a day 80-20% too but it’s part of my routine and I have plugs everywhere so idm. This is normal usage 4g and social media no gaming and Bluetooth always on connected to my watch.
I see no difference tbh
Man i have the same exact issue on my 14T pro (i actually posted about it too on this subreddit). I literally debloated too and did everything i can to fix it but nothing helps…
I just hope Xiaomi will fix it in the next updates..
Hyperos is really bad in battery management. Despite killing background apps aggressively it still can’t be efficient.
I went back to my old phone on miu 14 and am waiting for the next hyper os update. If it doesn’t improve, I’ll sell the phone.
Resetting the phone does not restore deleted apps. And the cause is hyperos 2, random apps do this to me. The phone is not in use and a random app takes 50% of the battery in an hour.
I will never buy a phone from xiaomi again. This system is currently joke.

Well.. today I removed Firefox from my phone 🥲
I have reset my device and restored everything with only YouTube and the Mi Browser debloated. Let’s see…
Xiaomi is not at fault for someone deleting apps they were not intended to delete and then having bugs.
Deletes important system apps
Phone doesn’t work as intended
Surprise Pikachu face

You can turn off Google discovery and Google service? Like some of the Google app you don’t use!
Turn off the 5g when not in use
Exactly 🙁 Heating… But Camera isn’t bad, Performance not bad too
Those apps are called bloatwares and spywares for a reason. My phone used to drain at least 10% in idle before debloating and after deleting unnecessary clutter it’s down to 3% or less. Xiaomi is at the fault for making these suspicious apps as core and system apps.
This is not the problem. The problem is overall battery drain by the device software. I’ve always had that stuff on like default.
There’s not much you can do. HyperOS is the worst in efficiency unfortunately. Great phone, maybe the best in that price range, but horrendous battery management.
But like what should I do? This can’t be normal. Charging your Phone twice a day with normal usage, not even gaming.
I have the original system without any applications removed, after each update on hyper os 2 a reset was made. The phone worked badly as it did, worse with each week.
At some point I started using my old mi 10t with miui 14, it works much better than the ex-flagship xiaomi 13.
Restoring might not give the apps the permissions they had before. Just reset it and see if it fixes it. Just to make sure the battery life was fine before you debloated it?
Xiaomi 14 hyperos 2.1 when on standby mode yesterday just lost 4 % battery in 6 hrs. So shouldn’t blame on hyperos. First you need clear system launcher cache memory and also entire system cache memory then reboot the phone. Use phone as normal usage and check the battery and system launcher battery drain after few hrs. There is another thing which people are experiencing that hyperos doesn’t work that well with dimensity chips as they work with snapdragon chips.
I should or shouldn’t remove Joyose? Also I can just select the restore option so there’s no need to reset my Phone.
What’s the option called? There’s nothing called Access to Use
I did all the basic stuff
Usage to Access, I don’t know, I translated it using Google Translate lol, I’m Brazilian
Well I did that on day one so idk but I guess it’s worth a try. Will do it now and update y’all after backing up everything.
MY 13T Pro is the same. What a disappointment
Crazy work from Xiaomi. I also charge from 20-80% but I travel a lot. Normal usage, not Gaming, Social Media, all AI Stuff in Settings off and Bluetooth and NFC partly on. Switching between 2,3,4,5G. This can’t be, Xiaomi :/
Actually all Widgets
Bro just turn off unnecessary service in settings so that it can reduce battery drain! 🌹 Like ads, memory extensions and so on!🌹

“Those apps are called bloatwares and spywares for a reason.”
The issue isn’t that people delete bloatware.
The issue is that people who don’t have a clue what they are actually doing just going and deleting apps that some tutorial tells them to.
All ads except some in the system apps can be completely disabled without even touching adb.
I think on next hyperos 3 these major issue will fixed. And all of Xiaomi user will get more polish UI, performance and a smoother overall experience also get decent optimize system .Hyperos 3 we will get dynamic island. And Xiaomi is making their battery optimize better on Hyperos 3. But we all need to be patient for Hyperos 3!🌹
I already had joyose so don’t worry on my 13t pro and it’s the same. Other stuff you got back will just drain your battery. System launcher draining on hyperos 2.0.101. is common.
Is there any escape from this?
Since you said you debloated it, it could be joyose if you removed it. Other than that home screen also includes the power the screen uses.
Maybe worst case it is a defective battery. But I would try resetting the phone to make sure you haven’t messed up the debloating.
restart the phone. it’s because you updated it.
Can you send a picture?
Did many times
I have restored everything and immediately got trash notifications and random apps beginning from “My Apps”
