Some things to get out of the way first:
– I am NOT using Master Cinema mode;
– I already had been recording at 1080p 960fps and worked as intended before.
For some reason 720p is locked at 30fps and at 1080p/4K it’s either 30fps or 60fps.
It’s also pretty weird that I can record 4K video at higher frame rate than 720p.
I’ve seen another post with a similar problem and people have been saying that it’s because of Master Cinema so I made absolutely sure it’s OFF.
Anyone with the same problem that has been able to fix it?
Thanks
Does mediatek dimensity chipset in 14t doesn’t allow this ? 14t is phone I believe not 14t pro.
Edit: I found out that to use more than 60fps I had to select a separate Slow Motion mode on the default camera app.
But that still does not explain why 720p is locked at 30fps regardless of HDR and Master Cinema settings.
Is there any technical explanation as to why that is?
Try to turn off HDR.
I realised too late that I didn’t include a clarification that I’ve fiddled with it already and it does in fact limit to 30fps, but I couldn’t edit the post (apparently because the post has pictures)
Play around with the HDR button. Some recording configs don’t allow 60fps with it on.
