Hi i am from germany! The Bluetooth volume on my xiaomi 13t pro (Mediatek, MIUI 14 Android 13) is very low on max setting. I noticed on my car speakers and headphones. I even disabled Dolby Atmos but no fix. Anyone similiar experience or found a solution? I use poweramp equalizer as a hot fix for spotify but this is not a good solution yet as it is annyoing to switch and does not work for all players
UPDATE FIX:
OK i found out how to do it!
Enable developer Options first.
Then type this into your dialer:
Phone Dialer: * # * # 3 6 4 6 6 3 3 # * # *
Then go to hardware testing – audio – volume – audio playback.
Switch to music on the second selector
Then set index 15 to 255 on each of the following selections:
BT A2DP
BT A2DP HP
BT A2DP SPK
Volume should be boosted right away! Cheers! 😗👋

Yes, 7 taps on phone info, says dev mode enabled. My model redmi13pro (non-T)
Had missed the music step and only adjusted for system.
Now it seem to work.

You need to change all of the three bt values if you use Bluetooth across different sort of devices. Yes you can also change the values to your liking to make it a smoother transition. But imo it wasnt necessary as the last step wasnt that big of a jump.
Hi, I did change index 15 to 255. Works for me. What i noticed next is the huge gap volume between index 5 and 6 and very low volume from index 1 to 4. already changed the values for smoother transition but nothing happen.

Not working on poco f5.. My car Bluetooth audio is at 30% and over 30% on my phone volume stops increasing…. So its very low value have tonout radio at 30 but when i switch to usb i meed to go and to u15 volume its pissig me off

I also had this issue but managed to fix it.
Enter ur values under “music” and “BT A2DP” First should be 0, second index 88, then keep adding 12 on the number prior to itself until u reach 255. That will fix the jumping between step 5-6 and generally stay even between all steps 🙂

No you’re supposed to change the category to the letters mentionned, it’s at the top of the screen, then change each index 15 value to 255

Thanks man ! Really appreciate it. But one question, didn’t the speaker will jump great gap only for max volume if you only adjust index 15? Also, as soon i try your method. I saw the speaker option under all 3 Bluetooth option. Should i follow or copy all value from index 0 until index 15 from “Speaker” option and use it on “BT A2dp SPK” option which means bluetooth speaker option? Ok so I have this problem on the 13t pro and I did what you said here but it didn’t really change the volume of the Bluetooth, wireless headphones are still super low, car too 😓
I think this is a problem of a chipset. You see, I also have the same issue on my POCO M5, it has a Mediatek chip. I tried connecting Bluetooth to my second phone which has a Qualcomm chip, and everything works fine. This problem probably cannot be fixed.

Hello this is very good but dont put it to 255 i putted it and had to decrease them because i could voltrol volume (had zero volume incmy phone but still keeps blasting 100%
It is for Mediatek only and my guess is it is only for specific models of it. But i am no expert

Actually, after the reboot I also get a quick message saying “Volume is boosted” or someting similar.
Thanks for the tips. I wish the phone would allow users to swith to 90hz and a 1080 FHD resolution. I only get around 3 to 4 hours of onscreen time. I have only sued the phone for 3 days so maybe the software will optimise further as it understands my usage pattern.

The workaround works for my Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 (5g) too.
Now after any reboot, before I even login, I get a message “volume boost is on” the bottom of screen that disappears itself after a few seconds….

is it possible for someone to share their default or working settings? when i go from audio level 4 to 5 their is such and high increase in volume, but i dont see anything wrong in the developer settings as shown above. and its only when i connect to bluetooth speakers or headset.

Try to change a different setting. This was for bluetooth but there is likely one for the wired output aswell
So i have tried every setting there is but nothing worked. I also tried disbaling absolute volume under the Bluetooth device specific setting for my headphones but still no change. Changing Region to Swiss also did not help. Any idea?

Not very specific but you may reduce display refresh rate to 60 and disable some features like always on display and varoius other small things that use power. Personally i don’t have issue with drain as the phone charges very fast.

I have to update myself as I figured it out – this **might** get undone on a **region change**. So if you change regions to get updates sooner (Ireland FTW), you might lose these settings and will have to redo them.
