It’s not bad, but it’s not unique, almost every chinese company out there makes phones and their ui’s look exactly the same, my friend has a realme and there’s very minimal difference, this just throws me off, I wish I bought a Samsung or something tbh, I’m on miui global and I don’t know if they made this version for people to actually use or did they make to insult the people, I’ll maybe try the eu version first.
I’ll consider it, I really just cannot stand how miui looks
Thank you so much for replying again, I was pretty lost lol
Thank you for replying, Many people on some forums complained about fast charging that’s why I was concerned, I made another comment on your post, if you didn’t see it I basically asked where you got the rom from
What did you do after rooting the phone? Where did you get the rom from? No official rom supports mi 11t pro till now
Does fast charging work?
Hi, i thinking on buying a used pixel 6 or used mi11t pro and flashing pixel rom (both for around 200eur). Which one would you say is better?
How about 120W charge support ?
Looks more like a debloat and root enabled.
You should show ROM information.
Thank you so much for this. 🙂 I am worried that my banking apps may be affected.
Hey u/aivarukaz, how did you manage to install Magisk ? I’m with 11T Pro, PE GSI, and cannot install magisk
Through Recovery ? (Using OrangeFox Recovery, i get error 2), Patching the Boot image ? (Black screen at boot)
Did you use any black magic ?
Thanks
It’s device specific, join your device community on XDA or telegram to know which Gcam is better for your device. If they found something..
Yes
Gsi
No, play store and all Google services work perfectly. The only weird thing is that Google recognizes the device as a pixel 6 pro even though it’s not.
Does it affect your Google play?
ah , i didn’t know those were called ads .
The annoying pop ups are ads. You disabled them, so you don’t get them anymore.
is it like only some models or regions get ads on xiaomi phones ?
i never got a single ad , annoying pop ups were there though.
nonetheless i made the necessary settings later on to prevent ads from appearing .
Pixel experience is known for really bad battery backup, how about that?
I knew there was a catch for using mediatek 😂, shit. Thanks human
Mi 10T here with Evolution X Xiaomi Devices are amazing and much better with custom roms
I see you have Mi 11 lite 5g NE. Here are the steps.
1)you need to unlock the bootloader. Use the Mi Unlocker tool for that. You will need a Xiaomi account with registered phone number. Follow the instructions in the app from your computer. Link here: [https://en.miui.com/unlock/download\_en.html](https://en.miui.com/unlock/download_en.html) This process has a 168hour(1week) cooldown period so be patient (app will tell you wait 168 hours after you first try to unlock)
2) Get the android tools installed on your computer. Not sure if you are familiar with this but you run commands from the command prompt.
3) Go to [pixelos.net](https://pixelos.net) and download the recovery and latest build (ROM) for your phone.
4) I found this video that worked for me. Might not be useful if you don’t speak Hindi but you can see what commands he is typing clearly. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JOzHVSUTHnA](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JOzHVSUTHnA)
Thanks!! I will
I have a silly question, is there a equivalent in the Redmi note 10? I don’t know much a lot this stuff
42.
Hi, can you tell me more about how you started? If that’s okay with you. I see a lot of help here regarding that. But, I am getting overwhelmed since I don’t know where to start.
did someone got the uodate this morning to miui 13.0.15? im curious
Is there any benefit by rooting the phone nowadays? I’ve been tempted to do it since my Poco X3 Pro on MIUI has been awful after the last update.
and PixelExperience is even further from perfect
>stock android
>perfect phone
is this 2017?
Well, I only put earpeace on the ear, but then notification shade is pulled and quick action buttons are pressed 🙁
Any good video tutorials in that, every rooting/rimming tutorial uses twrp and I thought I could only use that
What about third party camera app optimization???
Maybe with the pixel experience rom, but not the stock Rom right?
Sot must be better right? Give a number plz🧐
How does virtual proximity sensor work? I stopped using Xiaomi phones just because they mainly don’t use real proximity sensors anymore and virtual sensors just don’t work good enough. I always press buttons on ther screen with my face during calls.
Thanks 🙏. I have to give it a try soon.
Nova launcher
Thank u ❤️
I love miuisr . It’s just miui but better
Could u try it plz. I would like to know before flashing it
Thank you.
I’m waiting for the Android 13 first, the battery on MIUI 13 with F3 is a joke.
Do you have a good magisk guide with the hide mode and adb?
I got POCO F3 and i also wanna change OS from MIUI, can you enlighten me on how you did that please?
You recommand which GCam in a website?
Isn’t the mi11 t pro better hardware wise?
Vibration is working fine?
Nice, what about icons opening/closing animation in third party launchers ?
Hows 🔋 life ? Usage and stand by.
I flsahed PE+ to my mi6 , the battery is fine on stand by but when in use its draining on a faster rate than miui and is considerably hotter.
Btw, which wallpaper is that?
Yea you just have to use a recovery that support encryption and decryption. What I use is stock android recovery, it doesn’t have a lot of customization but it supports encryption 100%.
Due to the chipset that’s used we probably won’t get any custom ROMs on the 11T.
Miui logs take up a lot of storage on stock rom.
What are the benefits of this? I don’t see anything wrong with the stock firmware except the gestures aren’t like Samsung which I’m used to, and I can’t use gestures with other launcher
For me that looks horrible but each to their own.
You can use all camera in GCAM just turn on AUX camera settings in GCAM. The main problem with Gcam is videos and slow motion. Some Gcam mods are too good for some phones that it captures really good photos and videos. But not for every Phone.
Would they get reset with every pixel experience update (month-2 month once)
They actually do work with magisk if you install safety net fix
Not with magisk but you could just not install magisk and it’d work
How’s the battery life ?
wait how? i have magisk installed
There are configs for the 11t pro that can use the macro and uw lenses.
I have redmi note 11 pro, can i do this too?
Pixel experience is. Check their official site.
Is this an unofficial build?
Does anybody knows how to get that ROM on the regular 11T?
Do banking apps and stuff work?
Couple of years ago I tried on my Mi 9 and iirc I had Magisk and my bank app kept complaining until I went back to stock.
A moment of silence for Xiaomi 11T User (like me) who uses Mediatek chip that can’t be overridden… defeats the purpose of custom rom…
Watch on youtube, every new Android is released, the Google get it firsts, while the others brand has to ” modify/tweaks” based on each interfaces aka miui, emui, one ui, etc, and gives you blootware because each individual interfance has their own services ( samsung) despite alreadying running the Google services( and that s how you ran out of ram despite the hungry android itself being bad optimized anyway) google it doesn’t need an interface with different shapes of animations who eats alot of ram aswell
I was wondering about that as well. Chill dude 😂so defensive. How much better is the performance and how “customizable” Is this UI. I’m switching from iPhone btw. So if you’re just gonna keep being hostile move along.
Obviously you dont, you sound like you are generalize it, also it s based on preference, but if you choose cosmetics and bad performance over optimization, sure go ahead.
Obviously I’m stating that I find it ugly wym O.0
Which version of gcam port are you using? Is there any chance you could share the link?
Ugly for you, talk in your name
How about you try helluvaos?
My 11t pro arrives tomorrow what makes pixel rom better? It looks ugly from what you show.
I have the Poco F1 with PE too and I am thinking about rooting the phone. What are the main advantages?
Unfortunately pixelos isn’t available for my mi 10t pro, but I run Xiaomi .eu, and I’m fully satisfied with it
Would this work with my Xiaomi Fold Mix 2? (It’s a Chinese Rom only, and it’s annoying)
Well done. Also moved to LineageOS on my Poco F2 Pro. Best decision – finally, no bloatware 😀
Nicee. I have the Poco F3 and after I was able to unlock the bootloader, I immediately flashed a Pixel like ROM. Pixel Experience is nice but I use HentaiOS. I think it’s much better for my phone.
Yes I was gonna ask that too. Gcam’s only disadvantage is that it can’t fully utilize the camera hardware
Excellent. Wish id known about that before buying a pixel 6 pro to replace my mi 10.
Oh but it’s been a while since I’ve flahsed a recovery onto a phone and I heard it’s more complicated With miui 13 cause the files are encrypted
how do you do that ?
I want to do that on my phone but i cant see a ROM for the 11t pro
I want to do that with the mi 10t pro
What about super wide lens, 108 mpix, pro/manual (especially manual focus) and macro mode?
What about camera? Is it working fine?
You probably have more customization.
How? Just searched on PE website and haven’t found a rom for 11T Pro
Ah yes. No ads, bloatware, annoying pop ups, just clean Android.
You’re also extending your phone’s life. I think you have like 10 or more extra GB of storage.
11 Lite running PixelOS here. Very happy with it.
