This is technically possible since the introduction of QuickStep in Android Pie, but launchers usually don’t receive updates through normal means.
More apps are displayed on the recents tab

Eu global rom stock + google experience theme works perfectly on 12.02. MIUI, before that some little problems on notification Led and proximity sensor on first 12.01. on redmi note 8 pro

Android resembles iOS more. It looks very similar to literally almost every other phone: Google, Samsung, OnePlus, Sony, Nokia Motorola, Huawei, LG, Asus. These are only the ones I’m 100% sure they use the same horizontal scrolling like iOS, probably the same applies to Oppo, Vivo and Realme.
