I tried setting my router channel to 11 and it worked for me, only difference is that my network wouldn’t show on my phone at all, and all the others would have no problem whatsoever.
I’ve had this issue with my Redmi note 8t. The fix for me was to change my access point. Reading various thing on the web I think maybe it’s some incompatibility with the wifi module in my phone and the wifi module in my particular D-Link router. Way above my understanding though. New wifi access point. Plugged into my existing router and it works perfect. My brother has ordered me an mi router from China. He says they work better with no phones.
I had the same problem but it disconnected every 10-15 minutes. But for me my router had both 5ghz and 2.4 ghz in the same SSID so I split them. And it worked
I don’t think I can call now, it’s friday and it’s always a hassle trying to explain the issue over the phone. I’ll go there and explain in person, that way it’ll be easier if I have to RMA it.
Oh I was in the middle of typing my comment, I’ve already tried that a few times but it didnt work
يا صديقي لو المشكله متحلتش بعد كل ال عملته ده وديه الضمان أحسن
im late but with a reballing fix this issue, some m11 lite overheat and connection issues came from a bad manufacturing
After update the hyperos mobile network automatically disconnected in particular time slot and that time mobile phone is heated so please suggest me what can I do?
Oh and the other phone is working?
I see, then yeah, I guess bad modem on the phone
I would get the 5G variant. I had the 4G version abs returned it. The performance on the 5G version is much better.
I turned it on where do I get the error logs?
Yes I’ve tried a few times still same issue
Same here, the problem continues…
I had the same issue with poco x3 nfs after a update to 12.0.5.
Tried everything, nothing worked.
Then I set it back to 12.0.4 and it worked.
I restarted my router over the menu (FritzBox) / deleted the corresponding mac wlan connection before and afterwards I tested it with the new version 12.0.7 of MIUI.
It worked for me.
No the 4g version
Have you tried to turn it off and back on? Jk.
Try another network, even if other devices work on that network
I am trying to find a solution for the Network signal call end/call drop issue, but I came across this video, see if this helps you.
[Fix WiFi Keeps Disconnecting Problem | Redmi POCO MIUI 12 WiFi Problem Fixed](https://youtu.be/wFxrN3M9HIQ)
After that try hard restarting your phone, hold the power button until your phone shuts down (takes somewhere about 15-20 seconds) and power it up normally as you always do and see how the WiFi is going. If that doesn’t work your WiFi chip might be broken.
This seems to be working, however, when the screen is locked, it looses connection, but the moment I unlock the screen, It connects to the Wi-Fi, automatically.
>OMG I just found a fix! I just have disabled the IPV6 setting on my router and now every
thanks works for my also
I’m using mi 11, Miu 14.
After I woke up I’ve had the same problem, it connects for 10 seconds and it disconnects.
I’ve tried everything that I could find when It comes to things related to the mobile phone with no avail.
My other phone and laptop were able to use the network. I’ve contacted the other phone on the network, used WiFi share and the Mi 11 worked like that.
After couple of hours I’ve restarted my AP and it worked LoL.
I was positive that the AP was not a problem since everything other is using the network. Guess I was wrong.
I’m going to a nearby xiaomi service center tomorrow, will see what they have to say.
Hey is this phone really good?
I’m want to buy it currently I’m using oneplus 6
What’s your Opinion?
Same problem here on my mi 11, but it started about 2 weeks ago, before that it worked just fine.
On the Xiaomi forum:
https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/my-redmi-note-11-disconnects-from-wifi-and-does-not-list-any-wifi-networks-for-some-time.66941/
I have a question. Is your wifi both 5Ghz and 2.4ghz or just one alone?
I did 2 updates, one the day I bought it and another one now. I’m now on miui global 12.5.3
It doesn’t work, the only difference is that when it finds networks it connects to mine, but it keeps loosing them.
Thanks…
Light and speed all i want
Maybe I’m gonna buy it It’s 5g variant
Alright
Yeah all other devices in the house are working, I guess something went wrong with the modem or firmware
Go to app permissions, check “could change WiFi network” disable everything. Done. Problem solved.
Your phone doesn’t like this wifi network :v
Around ~3 days ago, I bought the phone ~2 weeks ago
I too have this issue… and i have no 3g network option in my mobile..😕
ah – sucks. In my area there was a guy that built his own wi-fi- signal booster – went way beyond what the regulations limit you to and basically interfered with anything wireless (including car remotes) for blocks – which is why I thought of that 🙂
But yeah, seems your problem is phone related then.
Google how to split SSID for your router provider
Could there be network interference?
have you tried connecting at a different location?
There are some free apps available in the play store that can show you what the wi-fi network looks like in regards to saturation in your area.
I guess try some of the solutions posted here first
you have the 5G mi 11 lite right?
which iphone has a 90hz oled for $300?
I’ve tried every solution I’ve found.
Reset network settings
Remove sim card
Disable/enable miui optimization
Disable network auto switch
Updated miui to latest veraion
And finally factory reset
This was after factory resetting the phone and the problem still occurs. Anything else I can try before sending it back?
إن شاء الله هتتحل و لو متحلتش و انت لسه في ال 14 يوم هيبدلوا الجهاز إن شاء الله
I went to a service center and they told me its a ISP network issue. They told me to set it to 3g at home and it will work fine. I did and it’s working fine, wifi and mobile network.
try connecting to ANY other router
It’s really good for the price, the amoled screen is nice and smooth, performance is great, the camera system is very nice, battery gets me through the day easily and the phone is super light.
Only downside is no headphone jack and the miui software, has some annoying bugs but they keep getting fixed.
The modem in that phone is 100% broken, but I can’t explain the wifi thing. Is the wireless connectivity module also connecting the wifi/bluetooth? Do you have any bluetooth device to test this with?
Needless to say, you should send that phone to RMA.
I’ll give it a shot. Thanks for your help.
my router is 2.4ghz only
It doesn’t work when I try to connect to another phone’s hotspost
Right under when you select a wifi, in wifi settings
Probably the best advice.
i love the camera detail
Same
It seems that there is a problem with the entire network “module/chip” or whatever it is called in the phone. Both wifi and cellular network auto turn off
Still doesnt work
It’s joke. Chill, bro
I tried that now still doesn’t work
You should. I have the same phone and I don’t have any issues.
Hey man, I have mi 10 lite for few years now and I am facing this issue. I tried all your solutions. How did you manage to fix it?
Buy iphone
It’s more a section since it’s a soc where everything is in one chip. (Correct me if I’m wrong
Ik this is like way too late but i have sort of the same problem. This happens to my phone(wich is the same model as yours)only when im out of the country i bought the phone from. The only fix i can find is setting my IP Address manually in the network settings.
Switch to Device Mac
I have the same problem with my mi 10t pro should I return it too?
ده اللي هعمله بكره بأذن الله
As a tech, almost 100% sure you have a faulty Wi-Fi module, or there is a serious software / firmware issue.
Which update fixed it?
I was just gonna ask. Try to restart your phone? If that doesn’t work, return it cuz it prolly has issues with the modem
I’ve been using Xiaomi phones since forever and I don’t have a problem with any of the things you mentioned. The reason I prefer Mi phones over the competition is value for money in terms of features. For example, no other brand includes an IR blaster which is such a useful feature.
I agree that MIUI has its problems but the features make it up i.e. app locker, gallery editor, call recording, poco launcher etc. That’s why I immediately unlock the bootloader and flash Xiaomi.eu rom for a ad free and bloat free UI. I prefer MIUI over Stock Material You. Not a fan of the boring bland pastel colors and ugly big quick panel icons.
It does the scan then closes immediately without showing the results screen and says pass, but the problem is still present
split them?
No it happened way before that
I only have 2 routers and they both don’t work. I tried another phone’s hotspot and still the same issue.
OMG I just found a fix! I just have disabled the IPV6 setting on my router and now everything work like before! It’s probably a bug from the new versions of MIUI, I hope they will fix it soon.
Tried and sadly still doesnt work
All of sudden every Poco phone has been facing wifi and data problem. My M3 did that, had to sell it on loss after using it for like 3 months
Go to WiFi assistant and set:
1. Select best networks automatically to either ON or OFF it doesn’t matter.
2. Set Traffic mode to OFF.
I’m not saying that this will work on your phone 100% but it doesn’t hurt to try.
Seems like that is the only option left for me. I’m going to an authorised service center tomorrow, will return it if I have to.
Did you experience this after updating to the latest update 12.5.3? Or did it happened way before?
Try turning on wifi verbose logging in developer settings and tell us the error it shows when it disconnects
All other devices are workong perfectly, I’ve tried resetting the router just in case but didnt work.
