yeah honestly, the fact that xiaomi put a few of these features normally seen in custom roms(proper theme engine with boot animation support, battery bar, editable carrier names) in their stock miui is great. was definitely a good surprise to see when i first got my phone.
of course you can do this in stock android as well, but you’d need xposed and all that.
