nah my display was small , had to change it to medium to fix it
no it was the size of the display
thank you fixed it
thank you so much. fixed it
thank you very much
any idea how i should fix this?
i dont even know what that is honestly
no i didnt, i dont even know what that is
Yeah I love my Chinese characters in tiny fonts /s
Sameee, im a big fan of the new style, just makes it look better
I mean yeah the default dpi is low, but I wouldn’t like it very high because it makes interactive buttons even smaller which is bad for my wide fingers. To work around I just make the font smaller so more text would fit in a space.
No he changed his dpi in dev settings
You mean color os clone?
I like the new notification sistem but i got small hands so i cant reach the top edge to see the notifications on a confortable way… miss old small phones and hey i got an mi 9 se (one of the small phones this days)
Actually Xiaomi (and Android in general) has had the control center this way long before iOS, then moved forward to the current design
I like the default size
You set a DPI value too high. You need to lower it to a normal value, or go back to your ROM’s stock value. I used 420 or 392 and works just fine in a Redmi Note 8.
You must be legally blind if you use the normal display size, it’s like using a fisher price phone if you don’t set it to XS. How about idiots at xiaomi design team test their changes at different screen sizes?
I use 595… am I normal?
I don’t have that problem . My 9t pro feels like an old five inch phone in my hands.
Yeah but I have a big redmi and it’s a pain trying to reach over to the top right corner to view notifications every time
It’s better if it’s split into two separate panels for notifications and quick settings . There’s more space if you get a lot of notifications.
Is this how the MIUI looks now? That’s just… ugly!
I had the same problem, when you decrease the system font size to small or XS, this happens. Normally, I like the font to be small, but selecting the small font messes up the control center. You can set the font back to normal.
It’s too small for me, i like more content and smaller ui. My friend keeps it at 680, basically a tablet/pc view
The default dpi should be like 392 for optimal view
Its because your display size is set to XS (extra small). Just search display size in settings & from there you can change it to medium, then there won’t be any awkward space. Try rebooting once if it doesn’t change right away.
I am happy with the good old miui notifications panel
The new shade is not worth the trouble. I still use the old notification shade. Easy to use and classic
There’s an option to change it back, which I’m sure everyone does
[here’s my CC, it’s IMO completely normal lol](https://imgur.com/a/wMMuJcs)
Literally what happened to me when I messed with the display settings today. Just change back the display setting size in accessibility settings, turn control center off and on again or restart the phone and it will go back to normal.
Why? Isn’t it normal look? It’s like that for me too, although i have DPI at almost 600
You fucked it up totally!
Everyone copies from each other. It’s a good thing.
If you want the old one back just got to setting>>display>>control centre and the deactivate the new control centre
It was added with Miui 12.
You have a very high DPI settings, revert it back by going to Settings > Accessibility > Vision > Display Size > Change it to medium/normal
This. Xiaomi basically copies Apple since the start but with better value.
Holy fuck I had no idea Xiaomi went into full Apple copy mode…. Wtf?
try to revert your text size to small
Is it your Theme?
Did u change the DPI in developer settings?
Which phone you’re using?
No I meant why are the icons placed like that. They’re not symmetrical. The weird space in between. Should have worded this better.
It is a setting under Display and once you scroll to the bottom you will see Control Center and Notification Shade. Disable new Control Center from there
