Problem is that Xiaomi might work with batches and if these are all the same batch they might all have the same issue. But if you were to buy a new one in a few months from now you might get another batch that doesn’t have the issue anymore.
And Xiaomi is known for changing parts mid production eg. Note 4X camera sensor.
But I assume that all Poco’s currenlty available are the same batch and use the same parts so you have a point. It’s just that in 6 months from now the results with these phones might not be relevant anymore.

Tbh this seems like a waste of money. I’m not talking about the phone, the phone looks amazing and I’m sure your family will love it. I just can’t help but think that not everyone in your family actually needed a new phone. Phones depreciate value very quickly, it would have made more sense to buy one for those that need it then set money aside to buy for the rest later on.

Well yea, I hear that about every popular Xiaomi phone. And it is true but I’ve never experienced any bug on my Note 4 Global which I bought a few months after release so I assume all software bugs do get fixed pretty quickly.
