When could the 16 ultra be expected? Should I wait for it or buy the 15 ultra?

I really love the photography capacities (and also the filming possibilities with motioncam pro). But I hear there are rumors that the 16 ultra is already in the pipeline. What would be a reasonable date to expect it? I’m in europe btw, so maybe there’s also a delay between release in china vs. europe

    If you can wait for a year and a half, then sure. But the 15 ultra just released a few weeks ago…? Is it already “old” for you? Seriously, I have a feeling that you’ll wait for the 17 ultra after the 16 ultra release. It’s now basically a loop of waiting for a new tech product.

    There will always be another phone in the pipeline. If you keep waiting for the next, you’ll just end in a viscous cycle.

    I’d say it’s worth it, especially since the global model is very well compatible with many global networks this year. Some software updates and optimizations will help balance the camera but I’ve heard that’s already in the works/beta testing.

    Wait for 18 Ultra. It will have feature of AI photos created out of mind – no need to even take out phone to take a picture 👍

    It will definitely be ahead of the game like always. When others are using tiny same old sensors. Xiaomi brings in the huge 1 inch sensor and master photography . Expect the best from Xiaomi

    Depends on what device you have. Any flagship with competent cameras from last year is not worth upgrading to 15 series.

    Anything older, then it depends on your use case.

    No 16 ultra will be around March 2026. Maybe what you heard is Android 16 lol which will be out earlier than normal.
