I charge it once every 2 or 3 weeks usually (depending on my activity – using the GPS reduces drastically the battery life), so yeah genuinely quite an amazing battery life for an “always on” screen 🙂
Happened to mine as well two weeks ago, same color.
Never wore it in the shower or banged it up.
I don’t think the failure rate is that high.

I have mince since almost a year now, I wear it 24/7, even under shower, I made a lot of bike, hikes, few runs too (with GPS)…… I even scrached it a few times but she’s still alive and working just fine. I’m genuinely impressed for the price.
