I’m about to pull the trigger on the global version of the 15 Ultra and I was just wondering what the main differences are between these two camera modes?
Does vivid mode simply punch up the contrast and colors to make it look more like Vivo? Or is there more to it than that?
Vivid has more extreme colors which tend to look good if you mainly look at photographs on an AMOLED phone display while authentic has more natural colors so it’s pretty much exactly what it sounds like.
Authetic looks more like a real camera where the HDR doesn’t do much and it’s not very saturated (just like in a real Leica camera). In vivid it’s kind of just like any other smartphone with a little less hdr.
