My GF has Xiaomi with Android 7.1.2 n2g47h and moui global 11.02.2
And I cant find a way to uninstall the App. From PlayStore it just showes the apps description and from the Srttings I see the app, can delete its cash and so on but bo option to delete it 🙁
It seems they have. Faster response than Samsung. Samsung has the biggest issues.
Hmm I have the 12.1.3 version (EU variant) and although I don’t have this particular problem, I have a lot of problems with this version, and it’s the first Android 11 version for our phone. I had #2 from your list, but this happened before 12.1.2 update. I just put my phone in silent and relied on vibrate as the volume of fb messenger (only) is always on max.
The 12.1.3 is not yet available for my phone. I bel2this is an asian version, if I’m not mistaken.

Do you mean unisntall the update? Because on my Mi8 there’ s no option to uninstall the app, just unisntall the update.

Ah hmm maybe it is a Facebook issue then. I also had it for like 2 days on Messenger then it stopped. Still have it on Facebook.
As for the update I think it’s the equivalent for the Asian variant, I suppose they give the coding for each variant. 12.1.3 for Europe, 12.1.2 for Asian variant. I suppose it’s just the “12.1” update. My previous update was 12.0.3

I also had the issue. Happened all of a sudden this afternoon. Now it’s working fine after uninstalling the updates and reinstalling the ROM(native updater).

After installing the version 12.1.2 stable, almost all of my applications are crashing right after opening them. It basically bricked my phone.
For SAMSUNG USERS – if not given an option to update, uninstall, or disable/able Webview, click to uninstall Chrome. It won’t actually uninstall (thanks to Samsung bloat), but it will try to, and somehow that fixes the problem.
Same on xiaomi pocophone f1 here, can’t manage to solve the problem
If that doesnt work try deactivate chrome and then again webview

Fake solutions out there…
Due to the revolt against the dead god, a mischievous update was made on march 22 to both chrome and webview. It made all apps crash and couldn’t see an option to enable webview. The workaround is simple, just uninstall chrome and webview starts working for you… my kind of people got this?
