There is a good joke I heard a few years ago.
How do you make a time bomb with only phones? Take a Xiaomi phone, open a game and throw it in a box of Note 7’s. In 5 minutes it should all explode.
That’s actually my current phone and I could play games continuously for 7 hours. Not sure what’s wrong with yours?
My redmi 6 pro or mi a2 lite for international markets get me around 14-15hrs of screen on time with heavy usage.

What cpu are you running in that thing? 4000mah 625, max brightness GPS and Bluetooth 10hours sot.

you shouldn’t update it everytime. when you feel your phone is fine don’t update but if you feel it have bug or something wrong update it
Literally anything that’s not MIUI is pretty stable
There were also people with exploding xiaomi batteries as well. Even on this sub.
