Yeah just that kind of usage. I know right, I’m regretting it everyday and now I’m thinking about getting poco x3.
Thats impressive. Just normal use right? I mean, whatsapp/telegram, web browsing, reddit, YouTube and some light gaming ?
Oh that Exchange was not a good decision Indeed…
So do you suggest Evolution x? Actually i do not have bugs with pixel Experience 11 so far
March build had great battery life, but april build’s battery life is trash.
Do you know where can I buy the redmi note 10 / pro? Doesn’t matter if it takes long shipping
Now, that I’ve tried the newest build of Pixel Extended which he made (25th April 2021), I am afraid he won’t make good builds. There’s a bug which doesn’t render the UI and I have to do a soft reset. Also, the battery drains fast on it and it turns off sometimes for no reason (no, it’s not because it died, it just turned off.)
Yup.
Sadly they don’t have an official image for the redmi note 9, I wish I knew MediaTek was such a pain in the ass before buying it…
Battery life is a hit or miss, but when it comes to Perf, the code of PE itself is the culprit here. It’s the worst performing Custom ROM.
From my experience Mi series is less popular in custom roms whereas redmi note series and poco are great for development. I’m thinking about buying poco x3 as it has a massive community on xda.
How do you know that he’s from India?
Actually I’ve exchanged redmi note 7 with Galaxy A50(worst decision) recently but with normal usage I used to get 5+ hours easily sometimes 6.5 with Stormbreaker kernel.
That is true, I would’ve also liked to try out pixel experience once but sadly it has no maintainers. I heard that Pixel Extended is a pretty good rom too, have you given that a try?
Oh god… it feels like a dream now, I thought they won’t maintain it ever again.
I hope this means that the Mi 11 will get some roms soon as well.
Crdroid is superb also
Idk whats wrong with my miui but with miui i always get 6 hrs gaming time compared to 8 hrs gaming time with havok. Miui also heats up my phone more compared to aosp roms
LineageOS hands down. Decent mix of performance and battery life with a lightweight UI.
Welp, Aryan ditched it. There’s no maintainer again.
I would highly appreciate it if u can put the download link for it. Also can I dm u for further inquiries?
Alright thank you. How can i swap kernel ? More interested on battery tbh. Last week i was on oneplus 7t buy After theyr shitty android 11 update i changed to this 😀
maybe it changes from device to device
Pixel experience is great unless you care about performance and battery life :p.
I actually check on GSMARENA for snapdragon processor and xda forums for checking the availability of customs for the device I’m going to buy lol.
Mmm, they ditched miatoll (RN9 series) and started making custom roms for RN10, nice.
LineageOS and Evolution X as far as I’ve tested on redmi note 7.
that’s what i care about so probably it’s not for me
Hey ! Are u using PE on your redmi note 9 pro ? Is it working well ?
He made an official Pixel Extended build for Miatoll and he is still updating it. Also, can you do me a favor and dm me link to download PE+ or can you at least tell me if its the PE+ made by Aryan or the one made by xrpdigital?
Not checking xda before buying a device is my huge mistake. I really thought mi note 10 lite would get popular in xda given how cheap it was with SD cpu and amoled. Up until now we only have gsi roms maybe because the kernel sources isnt released yet even after a year.
I actually like MIUI, but it’s great having choices.
I’ve used pixel experience and as with all custom ROM, the issue is not in the performance and battery life. It’s the bugs. DNS won’t connect unless i turn on airplane mode and turn it off is the most apparent and annoying one. Then there’s that no app are supporting EIS on android 11 unless you use magisk and install ANX camera
oh, ok
How many screen on time do you get? Im on pixel 11 normal and in getting 4/4.30 hours of screen on time
What are the best roms in terms of battery life
If its working smooth, I think there is no reason to change. Btw you can try Stormbreaker kernel if you like and it has 2 versions. One is for getting more performance while 2nd is more optimised for battery.
hands down miui has the best battery life. I tried pixel experience and resurrection remix and both fucked up my battery life. (redmi note 7)
