But yeah culture is just different in Japan and I actually think they need to tackle it head on, because from what i’ve read sex is more of a commodity more than something you do with someone you like romantically (not saying that all sex has to be romantic but i think you get what i mean), and it’s more relationships and dating that’s decreasing more than sex, because apparently a lot of young people (or men at least) just go to prostitutes because it’s cheap, not as frowned upon as in other places, and doesn’t require people to invest as much time as dating does.

Yeah, I mean tbh I doubt that either of those two things are actual issues leading to having less sex, I think what you’re mentioning is more a symptom of their society and culture, people are moving away from their parents at an older age, dating is seen as bothersome and expensive, with a terrible working culture and long working hours.

I think the bokeh separation looks good, but the actual look of the background blur is not especially appealing in any way to me.

Well, most people probably will never do macro shot with the periscope lens anyway, so rectangular bokeh isn’t an issue for them or at least a rarely occurrent.
