What are your settings for bsg?
I did find the global beta 8.9.7 in some post on the xiaomi forum.
I downloaded the recovery rom, and used the updater app in the phone ( choose update package) and then the rom, it didnt worked the first Time but after downloadet it multipe times and trying it did work.
Do it on your own risk :p

In my opinion it’s much better in low light conditions.
The photography thread in this subreddit is specifically for photos taken with Xiaomi devices.
The details are impressive. Can even read the text from the far billboard.

Sounds a little bit sketchy to me! Thanks for the guide though. I’ll wait for it to drop on my phone and then try the Gcam. I think the biggest difference will be at low light photography. Mi8 already makes amazing photos, so it’s not too urgent!

Thanks! I just installed it like that (downloading .apk and running/installing it, but seems like its not running smooth at all [maybe 2-3 fps or something])
I think it depends , but some cases i think the built in is better 🙂
