I recently picked up the Xiaomi 15 Ultra and I’m still adjusting, coming from years of using Samsung devices. My previous phone was the S23 Ultra, which was a fantastic phone with no real issues—I just wanted a bit of a change.

Now here’s where I need help: calendars.

I’ve been using the Samsung Calendar for over 5 years and have built up a lot of history in it—past records and plenty of upcoming events too. I’ve also been sharing my calendar with my wife (she’s still using a Samsung phone). We both have our own Samsung accounts, and it’s been super handy being able to add events—especially for our kids (like appointments and school stuff)—and have them sync across both of our calendars.

But now that I’m on Xiaomi, I only have access to the default Xiaomi calendar and Google Calendar. There’s no Samsung Calendar app natively available and I can’t find options on adding the Samsung account to the Xiaomi calendar.

My questions:

1. Is there any way to install Samsung Calendar on the Xiaomi 15 Ultra? Maybe via APK? Will it work properly?

2. How can I retrieve all my previous events from Samsung Calendar?

3. Is there a way to continue syncing or sharing calendars with my wife, while she stays on Samsung Calendar and I’m now on Xiaomi?

She’s not planning to switch from Samsung any time soon and is really comfortable with the Samsung Calendar, so ideally I’d love a solution that keeps things working between our two phones.

Any help, suggestions, or personal experiences would be hugely appreciated!
