So I seem to have a stutter of the super wallpaper at the end of the scrolling animation on my Poco F3.
Happens on all of the ones that I had to install from APKs: saturn rings and snowy peaks.
They worked fine until yesterday.
I’ve been having that with Netflix
Have you tried using other Super Wallpapers?
Yes, as I said, it only happens to the ones that got installed using APKs. So the one with earth and mars are fine.
Do you know how to uninstall them? Maybe reinstalling them would fix the issue.
Where did you install snowy peaks from? Cant find it anywhere tried so many sites and none worked
I have the same e4 amoled display. are you having any gradient banding issues? For example with the mars wallpaper when I go to recent apps or pull down notification the blurred bg looks super wierd. Like looking at a topographic map. Also Lots of black region like the display is dead at that spot. Let me know if you have any issues like that.

seems to be a common problem among latest mid range amoled display on Xiaomi phones. the mi 11 lite series seeks particularly affected. hopefully it’s just a software problem like it happened on the galaxy s9

Ohhhhhh…shit! Hmm well. That sucks. Few more queries if you don’t mind. what about the ‘messages’ app screen at low brightness. Are you seeing any colour variation in the grey areas(dark mode)? Mine is bright at the top (where the phone heats more) and dark in the middle with light again at the bottom. Slight variations but still noticeable. I think most people look past these issues. But, It’s silly. Another issue is the top speaker vibrates the whole phone and makes sitting uncomfortably. only 4 days old and nothing but issues.

Sure, np. I don’t see what you describe in the messaging app, but I don’t game a lot so maybe when the phone heats up. It may be a slight gradient in the background of the messaging app.
Also, another one is with the proximity sensor, it doesn’t see my ear next to it so good and I keep putting people on mute, almost in every call! Especially if I hold the phone with my shoulder. I hope they fix all these with updates, because other than these things, I love the phone!
I never had an issue with the proximity sensor. But the speaker quality was not great. To be fair I only made one call with the amazon customer care(so, not Volte). Still, the top speaker doesn’t sound perfect to me. Like you said other than these issues the phone is perfect. It’s super smooth and the haptic feedback is fun. Since it’s Xiaomi/Poco, I don’t think an update is gonna fix the issues. let’s see.
FYI : I did a factory reset and the display UI issues seems a bit better now. In the dark mode it’s still there though.

It could be a performance issue. Does it persists when you clean the storage of your device and restart it?
It will keep the os update. But, not the data. all will be gone. You’ll have to set up everything from start. If you are not bothered by the UI glitch and have your phone already set up with lots of personal data, don’t reset. It’s not worth it. I’m still seeing the blur effect of the notification centre and recent app like a topographic map. No smooth gradient. Worst with dark mode. so hard reset won’t fix it permanently. Let’s wait for the 12.5 update man. Hopefully, some fix will be provided.
I don’t want to do that because I have a lot of data that I want to keep. I’ll try to cope the cache partition and reboot and come back with feedback.
No I mean the clean function of Xiaomi. Where it erases all junk Data. Do the more affordable devices not have this function? (It should be in performance or battery tab)

It was there in my k20p as well. I think it’s the issue with miui blur, when i switched to aosp, no such issues.
Try to set display to “standard” mode. That fixes the banding issue on my mi9t pro, although the colours are less saturated they are more natural and less compressed, hence less banding
The colour options available to me are different. I never changed anything before and I now tried multiple different options the issue still exist. I’m gonna try replacing this model, since I also have some contrast variation from top to bottom. So far I think getting a good amoled panel is like winning a lottery. If you’re lucky you’ll get a good one😅
Can you show me the colour settings? Im curious. If available use the widest one (for example DCIP3)

Not colour setitngs but the green tint issue. Had to return anyway. huhhh!
The gradient issue comes and goes I think it’s the UI issue and not hardware related.
Mhh I get it, good luck finding one without those issues, they plague even premium phones like the iphone unfortunately. I think it’s a limit of the AMOLED technology at low brightness, usually phones that don’t get that dim don’t show the issue, but it’s just a hack
