Too late i know but does this solve the motion blur problem ? I mean is it the problem with low shutter speed or something else like a hardware issue or something ?
Yeah tapping and clicking on the shutter defeats the purpose of half pressing on the photography kit.. It’s annoying
just like mine, 3 sharp photos among the rest. Either motion blur or lens blur, not focused on anything in specific. I don’t understand how you put all this hardware in the phone and just semi-arse it together
Tap to focus and then shoot is much better. But that isn’t point and shoot for me 😅
Usually when I want to point and shoot it’s single handed. So difficult to tap to focus then shoot in a short amount of time.
Is this even with tapping on the subject to focus?
Are you tapping on the subject before shooting? Why is there so much blurring 😔
For your photos I would leave ISO and White balance as auto unless there are specific things you aim to achieve.
F value ( aperture ) is fixed so it cannot be changed.
Have not been doing much night shots unless well lit areas. There is also longer exposure options but may need stabilisation/ tripod, have not explored those.
Thank u! What about the iso, WB, F values? Next to shutterspeed. Do you leave them just as they are when u change rhe shutterspeed or do you adjust them too? Also on lowlight / nighttime pics, whats ur recommendation there?
You could try to bump shutter speed faster eg 1/500 or quicker and see if it works for you.
This is to compensate motion of you and the subjects. If subject moves faster you need even higher shutter speeds.
For these birds in flight I went abit overboard at 1/3200 , probably can do with abit less but since I saved it as a quick shooting preset ..

What sohuld the other values be at? Im a noob when it comes to that stuff, usually just do point and shoot also and just got the 15U a few days ago. My hand stability is alright, sometimes a tiny bit shaky
Try higher shutter speeds under Pro mode.
I created own profiles for shooting and fix the shutter speed at 400.
But that is quite dependent on your walking speed / hand holding stability etc.
Usually for my mirrorless I 1/320 works pretty well for me.
Right observing moments is fun.. even more so with a camera in hand 😉
bro, the second one! a kissing couple and a dog doing his business in one shot? that’s next level!😂
That’s unfortunate. Sometimes it feels like I’m back on my Samsung S23 Ultra that takes blurry point and shoot photos.
Loved the quick shutter and capture on the 14 Pro and made me love Xiaomi (first experience with Xiaomi).
Yes on x14u too. On the ultra, point and shoot can be blurry.
Interesting… 1st xiaomi experience here. Hoping for them to catch up on the software end of things since 15u is a new release
I’ve noticed the camera on my 15 Ultra has that problem with point and shoot. Pretty annoying as coming from the Xiaomi 14 Pro didn’t have this problem. It took overall better pictures with less blur. On the 15U the 3x camera seems to be better for quick point and shoot compared to the 3.4x.
I really like the story behind those shots! Congrats.
I would upvote twice if i could just for the poop 🤣
Some are blurry !
Let the dog poop in silence😂😂
