Thank You! Actually the sunrays played a major role in creating the drama and the bokeh is because of the f/1.8 aperture.

If you have a manual video app you can do the same, all you need to do is to keep the EXPOSURE and FOCUS CONSTANT ALL THE TIME. I shot this video in custom picture profile in FiLMiC pro app which gave me extra space to color grade(enhance colors)…

Yes the digital stabilization works fine sometimes. I previously had LG G4 which has OIS and i really miss it.
Right now I used to shoot every video on my K20 Pro with minimum frame rate of 60fps(4k 60fps was another reason to buy a sd845+ phones). So, when you have more frames in your videos the time differences between each frames is less {that’s why 60fps or 120fps looks smoother than 24fps(I’m just talking about the 60fps/120fps not converting that 60/120fps in 24fps as it will become slo mo)} and because of that when you apply digital stabilization(like I did in premiere pro) it works better than those 24/30fps videos.

Basically quality of the video depends on the exposure triangle like I mentioned in the other comment, you need to keep you exposure and focus constant (these are two factors which changes in the stock camera as it’s designed to work in auto mode).

Not really..I have a k20 pro.. it’s great but there’s no way it competed in the sound front and night mode is nothing to write home about. But as far as value for money, it was great.. plus what it doesn’t have is just as important as what it has… no curved edges.. no notch.. no punch hole.

I agree that the speaker is trash but this phone does a great job over headphones. K20 pro has hi-fi audio dac (similar to LG V30+ which I have personally owned for a while) which supports 24-bit audio. Talking about the night mode, the camera is capable of doing intersting things with the good piece of software. Use the latest gcam 8.1 and you’ll get to know what this phone’s night mode is capable of. I agree that Xiaomi mainly focuses on increasing the number of megapixels in their cameras which in turn reduces the low light capabilities because of the lower sensor pixel area but still the camera works great for me even at night. See a sample image i shot on K20 Pro(there wasn’t any source of light except the moon) [here](https://i.ibb.co/TwFWB9L/PXL-20210226-135902899-NIGHT.jpg)

~~Now coming to notch, maybe you it’s your preference but most of the people hate notch. I personally don’t prefer the notch as it occupies a portion of my screen plus the pop up camera is a very good thing if you’re considered about the privacy. Curved edges is something I wish to have but still you are getting sd855 at such a low price what more could you expect?~~

The real problem with all Xiaomi smartphones is the software optimization.

re-read my post.. no notches is good.. no curved edges really good. It’s a pity they abandoned the pop-out mechanism. My biggest complaint with the phone is that it is impossible to hold in your hand or place anywhere without it sliding. It will always slide off my couch. But the case is so thin I don’t mind using it all the time.

Oh, sorry about that. Probably inattention blindness got me.

Yeah, i also like to use the provided case. The phone is indeed very slippery and because it’s made up of glass it can easily crack. I started using the case when the phone fell off my hand just a month ago after the purchase (still nothing happened)

    * ~I agree that Xiaomi mainly focuses on increasing the number of megapixels in their cameras which in turn reduces the low light capabilities because of the lower sensor pixel area~
    * But when you have 100Mpx sensor you can merge 8 pixels into one get a 12,5Mpx image with lot’s of light. Then in daytime you can capture the full 100Mpx image with lot’s of details.

Unfortunately this doesn’t work that way. Sensor per pixel area and overall sensor size are two different things.

Yes, by using pixel binning you can combine multiple pixels to represent a single pixel in a photo which can increase the light but the overall light captured by the sensor is still limited. With pixel binning you might get “brighter images” but the picture would be noisy. I’m talking about quality, not that extra light.

Can’t tell you exactly because it depends on light but here are few things to consider:

    1. Shoot in higher fps (60/120)
    2. Keep the focus and exposure LOCKED (you don’t want them to jump back and forth)
    3. Shoot in LOG color profile (for that extra DYNAMIC RANGE so that you can color grade efficiently; however i was in hurry so i used a Dynamic color profile)
    4. If you can control your shutter speed then always use the 180 degree rule i.e. shutter speed double of fps… e.g. for 60fps you need to keep the shutter speed to 1/120s or whatever is near the 1/120s like 1/125s… For 24fps keep it 1/50s for MOST CINEMATIC MOTION BLUR(as this is same technique used in film industry)
