Screenshots while on Dark mode gets darker and darker, is there anyway of fixing it?

Turn off “Adjust contrast automatically” in dark mode menu.

I have this issue since Android 11 update (25th December), repported to Xiaomi many times, and still no fixe. And their is also many others issues. Xiaomi really suck

It’s not the miui thing, it sometimes happened in samsung also, that’s something to do with Android I guess. Taking screenshot of screenshots will cause issues and that too first and 2md was fine, from 3rd it’s starts to get darker. Try from another phone and see if that phone has any similar issue, if they didn’t then, miui is to blame.

Well, I tried, but it stayed the same, it gets darker the more screenshots you take. Nonetheless, I really appreciate your suggestion, TY

I can confirm this. This setting makes your screen even darker, but it also affects screen capture (both screenshots and recording).
Is your “adjust wallpaper to dark mode” option enabled?

That problem occured before and turning that off is the only solution. I guess it’s returned.
