You can probably make it look like a teardrop in settings if you’d like. Also whilst you may not enjoy the aesthetic of it, it won’t be as intrusive as a notch, you can see the content around it, so you have an idea of what it’ll look like, your eyes also have a blind spot, but you don’t notice, not to say you won’t notice a hole in the middle of your screen, but you won’t loose content in the same way.

Why does Xiaomi have like 18 different phones, sub brands, and tiers?? These guys seem to just stretch themselves so thin by pumping out products. Their phones always seem so half assed and incomplete (I’m a pocophone user).

Will buy it anyway if it’s cheaper than mi 9. I’m going to consider any Snapdragon 855 if it’s $400 or lower. If that’s not possible then either mix 3 or mi 8 is what I’ll buy.
But for now I’m going to stick with my phone till it died

Samsung placed it in a better place which is less intrusive – but Xiaomi has placed it in a really bad place (if this video is legit)

I don’t think the phone is running MIUI at all, looks like an AOSP ROM with Launcher3, the stock launcher in AOSP. It’s probably just a hardware test unit.
