Redmi Note 8 Pro high battery drain

Hello everyone, I have a problem with my Redmi Note 8 Pro and started when i updated the phone to MIUI 12. At that time tho, my dad had the phone so i didn’t do anything. Now I own the phone so i would to know why this happens.
