You can also go to Mr. JWilliams, he’s down to earth. His vids about the Mi8 made me buy the phone.
Luis Rodrigues makes awesome reviews too, they’re friends

I personally wouldn’t skip that. For me the difference between the 4 and the 5 was already huge, the note 7 seems amazing.
Yeah.
That was a really good comparison, really honest and in real scenarios.
I’d like to see a comparison with the Mi 8 Lite as well, since a lot of people was saying that Redmi Note 7 would be taking the Mi 8 Lite sales for its camera, but now i’m not so sure about that!
Surprised, despite a slight green tint on the rear RN5 AI camera (that can be corrected) it just looks better to me. Also the Redmi Note 7 lacks dual pixel? Deal breaker in my opinion if you like recording video, that pulsating focus will happen a lot even in good lighting if you move.
I can always rely on this guy to do a good review. All I find about xiaomi phones on youtube are horrible reviews by Indian people.
Does the Redmi 5 plus and Redmi Note 5 Ai have the same front cameras minus the depth sensor on the 5 plus?
I think the pro might be the one to take over the mi 8 lite in that regard. ;P
I’d be interested as well though. Tomorrow my mi 8 lite is supposed to arrive and I’m confident however the two compare, I’ll be happy with my mi 8 lite. ^ ^
It’s not bad. Who have 5 – can skip 6 or even 7, who have 3 allready skipped 4 and 5. And who have 7 can skip (i guess) next one.
I always report them. Fuck that shit, seriously. Respect to the guys where at least they put language description.
What if i have 4, can i skip 7?
And 7 out of 10 times it’s just a video of the camera staring at their faces for all the video, what the fuck?
Thank you Johnny Cage
The RN7 seemed sooo good compared to my RN5, but not that big of a difference after the review, thanks OP! I can proudly stick to my whyred.
One thing to mark, the RN5 cam has gone much better with software updates, so camera improvements are to be expected on RN7 as well
There’s a Portuguese guy Filipe View. [https://www.youtube.com/user/Gritaria2](https://www.youtube.com/user/Gritaria2)
That does good reviews too.
This really shows how the latest isn’t always the greatest. Guess I’ll also have to give my RN-5 a contract extension.
The Note 7 pro would hopefully make some improvements
I think that i will skip N7, Note 5 is still amazing for me, the last update is amazing too!
Interesting, I’d have expected the 7 to be better.
I’m waiting for the 7 pro, hopefully that’ll be a good balance between price + camera quality.
Hahaha true
No, the chip can’t do 48mb photos. Maybe the pro version.
Interesting comparasion, but I have to disagree about the microphone in Video. In RN5, te audio is louder but the quality is worst, you can hear the higher frecuencies but not the lower ones and the noise is very present in RN5. In the RN7 the lower frecuencies are better and yes, the sound is not loud but you can equalize after in PC with a program and the noise is not too present.
From the indians, RevAltas does some great camera reviews
pretty disappointing as the camera of the RN5 is bad (ok for the price), but the newest one cannot be on par/worse. Thanks for the review
He’s one of the least biased reviewers I have seen! I follow him since his early days and while he doesn’t have the most beautiful production, his analysis makes more than up for it – amazing channel!
the only Indian youtuber i recommend is beebom
And RevAtlas.
Yeah Indian reviews are annoying af:

It does, but it’s 12 mp by software default
I’m on the Redmi Note 3 SE Global, still stuck on that, waiting for another Redmi Note series handset with Band 28 compatibility.
