I downloaded the eu version with Downmi (from Play Store) and install it manually. You can tap several times on the 10 icon from the system update page and then you can choose the package from the dots in the upper right corner.
MIUI11 is no good. Slower than MIUI10.
I have EU Global ROM and still haven’t got an update. I’m stuck on 10.3.6.0. Is there any way to get an update soon? Will Xiaomi launch it for EU Global ROM?

They Are releasing it to some percentage od devices. (Lets say there Are 1 000 000 redmi note 7 phones active And they release it only on like 100 000 devices)
Because this way, if the MIUI 11 has problems, they wont have to deal with So many devices, And Once it fully prepared, they Will release it at all devices

I decided to go with android pie instead because of security patches and all that. Might upgrade to 10 eventually but im happy with it for now. I just installed it and am waiting for my apps to copy over from the cloud.

I got it on the 31st of October (Italy), but I have a friend in Albania who has yet to get it.
I got it yesterday on my 3gb version in the UK. I imported my phone from China so it’s on global ROM I think

Hey, I was in the same spot. Just go on the play store and install Downmi. I was in doubt that the European version would be there since I’m Portuguese, but its was! I recommend it, I got miui 11 running on my note 7 and it’s working great. Plus it requires basically no effort to install. Just need to pick your device and variant of the software u want, go to the miui version page on settings, click the 10 a bunch till something happens, use choose install package or something and choose the files u downloaded. And then it starts updating and you get it running

more dark modes, many new problems and bugs. not really worthy to chase at the end of the day. google assistant is bugged when someone calls on mi9, you cant answer phone. same problem my friend and his freshly updated mi9. you need to disable ai button lol. Dont forget to set alarms again after update lol.

I got miui 11.0.5.0 on 27th October as a part of mi pilot. It improved in many ways. But had some annoying bugs. Two days ago i got another 11.0.6.0 which seems to have fixed everything and now it is good. Better than previous miui 10. Battery backup is improved. Mine is Indian note 7. So most probably this will be rolled out to public soon.
At this point why haven’t you downloaded the package and updated manually? Ffs

Supposedly it’s released in beta but this app doesn’t seem to have access to it.
